Dome? CT vibes? That demo looked 10x better than Chaos Theory. Just sayin'.

So, how would you like to see an OPSAT device like that demo had?

    LOl.

"vibes" are not about the game being better or worse

It's a special feeling you can't quite describe. It'S a way of things being handled, in combination with possibilities, mechanics, atmosphere, artstyle and freedom that gives you that "vibe".

With "vibe" I mean it felt that way, the way only CT feels mostly to me.

CT has a special flair, and somehow, I can't quite pinpoint yet why, but I can see elements that would support this feeling, I got this "vibe".

As for the OPSAT-like device. Like I said, amazing.

THAT is Stealth Action and Tactical Espionage (Re-)Redefined.

Lol, I'm with you. To go back to pre-CT release, seeing all the footage of what was to come. It's awe-inspiring.

Ubisoft has to at least meet the Kojima bar, with SC7.

    indeed

I don't need open world, just give me the same sandbox style maps/missions.

Just updated OP with section 1.4

    TAC-LENS LIVE SMI DATA-FEED

Give it a read! Keep in mind the whole idea is optional. It would not be active all the time. Only when activated by the player via the OPSAT SMI device.

A lot of talk in other threads that always has me referring back to this thread. I just edited original post with the following,

    BIOMETRIC ANALYSIS 1.3.3

Utilizing a newly implemented analysis routine, the SMI can inspect human biometric ques such as body language, facial movement and ticks, vocal patterns, pitch and inflections, body heat items, and finally, optical analysis, to determine a wide variety of parameters. These parameters are represented as a 'probability level', as calculated by the above mentioned and normally calibrated human factors. These may include, but are not limited to guilt and innocence, threat level, stamina and heart rate, stress level, truthful or not, mental alertness, area of attention (often referred to as directional alertness), as well as the ability to identify a target who's visual identity is not known, using combinations of the above parameters.

By using the TAC-LENS (1.4), field operatives have access to live-and-changing biometric analysis information displayed whenever the biometrics routine is activated via the OPSAT.

This system's success is due to a new optic device which can monitor targets at a resolution of 500 Gigapixels, making even the smallest movement changes clearly visible, allowing for very accurate analysis.

My TL;DR version of some functionality, most of those had already been discussed.

    • Map - active map, where I can tag POIs + place my own few waypoints (for example color-coded or ABXY/XOΔ[])
    • Photo and scan objects and faces
    • Interface to hacking minigame if there is one
    • trigger scan for radio sources in vicinity
    • read data obtained through mission
    • interface to some kind of knowledge base like SMI Database
    • one thing that may sound weird but sometimes I'd appreciate it - time measure. Displaying time since mission start, stopwatch if I want to take some tracking of how long activity takes, alarm and/or countdown.

I have a few suggestions/questions, should the Opsat be used in real time and have an option for a pause menu, or should the game stop whenever you pull out the opsat. Personally, I would prefer the former but am also okay with the latter.
