Would you buy XBONE or PS4 if Blacklist was re-released with extra SP, MP content?

Would you purchase Xbox One or PS4 if Ubisoft re-released Blacklist, with extra single player and multiplayer content. And... let's say there would be the possibility that the extra content was ONLY on the Xbox One and PS4 versions... just so they could make people re-buy Blacklist on the next gen consoles and make more money. Would you do it? I'm talking that this extra content would NOT be coming on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Wii U. Updated things too would be better graphical details and major fixes to a lot of glitches / exploits in SP and MP.

For the extras, I'm talking an exclusive SP mission of American Dust, Kestrel as a playable coop player, 2 new coop maps for Briggs, Grim, Charlie, and Kobin, and 6 new SvM Maps, with 3 of them being remakes from PT / CT / DA maps.

So, would you buy a new console just to re-buy an updated Blacklist game with exclusive extra content?

My answer: I wouldn't. For me, that would be a very cheap tactic just to push more sales. I'm not planning on getting Xbox One until a few years anyways, or at least until SC7 comes out. I'm not paying $500 for it. And I won't go PS4 since Microsoft changed its older online and used game policies and such. Exclusive content for SP and MP would be a slap in the face to the current owners of Blacklist, but it would be such an incentive to WANT to buy it on the new consoles.

I could never see Ubisoft doing this ever... but I wanted to get your input as to whether you would consider buying a next gen console just to obtain exclusive content and some graphical / technical issue updates in the game.

As per you, I won't even be getting next-gen consoles anyway.

Put it this way. I only got a PS3 last month. And that was because it was on special under $200 and with a game.

No, blacklist is an awful game. Gamestop offered me $4 for it. Why on earth would anyone upgrade consoles to play the same broken garbage?

I'm buying an Xbox One regardless, but not until months or something later. And if they re-release SCB on next gen consoles I won't even bother, the controls of it suck anyway. I'd wait til SC7 to buy another SC other than CT, but I might get that on PC.

    NO WAY.
I rather buy a PS4 for better games than for this...
They must fix this and not re-release it at 70 $$$ with additional content...
If they do that they must be really high.

NO! I don't play on consoles so I would be very angry if they did something like this.

I'll get a PS4 next year no matter what anyway. I might get a PS4 version if there's a serious uprade to graphics and performance, but it would have to look better than it currently does on my (upper mid-range) PC, otherwise I'm not interested. Any additional content better be available as DLC for the current versions.

And frankly, if they did this now, I'd consider it a ripoff no matter what. Other publishers do have next-gen versions of PS4/360 games coming out, but it was announced from the start, and in some cases you can upgrade to the next-gen version at a seriously reduced price. If even EA, one of the absolute worst when it comes to nickel and diming their customers, are doing this, the idea of Ubisoft charging full price for a PS4 version of Blacklist that we didn't even know was coming when we bought the current version is... well... I'm thinking torches and pitchforks, here.

    Well, I'm a PC gamer

I'll get a new graphics card around New Year, but aside from that, if I would be console gamer, I wouldn't consider it.

Ubisoft wants to make money? Simple: DLC (One (or some) of those: Kesrel DLC // Coop DLC // Sp DLC (American Dust) // SvM maps/modes) + SC7 with improved and balanced Blacklist and Legay Mode SvM with dedicated servers, anti-cheat program and balanced (and spawn-kill proved) maps, Grim and Kobin Missions + D-Ops 2.0 (both with random A.I. and sandboxy maps) and Roster of Agents (Kestrel / Agent 1 or 2 / Female Agent) to choose from aside from Sam and Briggs (at least in the coop modes and on the sp/coop maps when playing together as well as solo), less forced / heavily implied action in sp and Briggs Missions, improvement of the economy and customization system, a better story and more legacy elements in sp.

Do this and I'm completely satisfied.

PR focus on the "coolness" and "badassness" of Panther stealth and on the ghost style (PURE ghosting) in order to convince hardcore fans. DETAILED SvM explanations, updates and infos for all SvM veterans to be SURE this time they get what they want and an open beta for at least one mp and coop/sp map.

Less explosions, less drones, less Assault in presentations and demos / betas.
That's your PR. Remember: Sure Splinter Cell buyers are either SC fans or at least stealth fans. Players who don't play stealth and are looking for something new can be interested and actually KEPT in the franchise (in contrast to luring them in with explosions and action trailers and demos and having them as one-time buyers) by making stealth (Panther mainly for more action-oriented players) look appealing and interesting. Players will not stay if they realize that the expectations in terms of action and explosions are overshadowed by stealth, so they stay one time buyers. The right strategy therefore is to proof stealth can be fun, interesting and badass. Therefore the Panther style.

Conviction proofed that, aside from SC fans, another crowd established itself, the guys we now know as Panthers. Use that appeal that worked one time already.
Don't try to bend to cater towards Assault and explosions and action, show that stealth can be fast and badass as well (Panther).

=> Ensure to veterans that they get what they want (pure ghosting // classic elements in sp and SvM)
=> Make stealth look appealing for action-oriented players (Panther playstyle).

    MY advise.

All that above and it SC7 will have more sales than SCB. Especially since next time there is no nextgen release at the same time.

    I'm buying ps4 regardless

    but if they added content
    refined the multiplayer problems
and made the maps more open and added more choice

THEN YESSSSSS THIS WOULD BE THE PERFECT GAME
