Honestly, I don't care if it's in or not. The only time I used it anyway in either of the 2 games was Conviction's first level when you had to.

On that I have to agree.

Btw. There might be a lot of people using KIM, but I can't think of anyone I know, any ghost I know, who would ever fall so low as to use knock-out in motion.

No offense. But real Ghosts are all perfectionists.

OCP is a cheat? What? It had some crazy concept that worked wonders. It was the best way to create situations to confuse the guards and do the most intense of sneak arounds. And by sneak arounds I mean right past their noses.

    Dude... what?

OCP was way too OP in CT.

EMP Chaffs are pretty much okay in my eyes.

EMP Chaff knocks it out and it doesn't come back on until you're long gone. OCP disables for like... 10 or so seconds?

Exactly. 2 lights in a row. Patrolling Guards. Now you have to disable one light making the guards suspicious. Then you move slowly into the dark.. as you're moving you have to time it so when it recharges you hit that next light as you're moving, making the guards attention shift again. While they are distracted you have 3-5 seconds to reposition so your in a concealed area when the lights flicker back on. All in all 10-20 seconds on intense dodge play. Beats everything in Blacklist, except maybe some stuff in the last level.

My point is the OCP makes the situations dynamic, allowing for different playstyles for one main situation. Such a great tool, I wish they had brought it in with the game today. Couple that with amazingly designed maps, enhanced AI that adapts to suspicious behavior.. .. that would have been great. So great..

That would have improved Blacklist more but we can hope it will return in SC7.

OK but if Ubisoft would remove that they could make the jump button and the underbarrel Launcher return for SC7.

@Dome Exactly, most of the ghosts are perfectionists. They don't care about M&E, KIM, KOIM etc. etc.
All they want is CHALLENGE. They want to do eveything by using the brain and not by using a WIN-button.

The reason I did this topic is because I want the Jump and the Underbarrel Launcher back... the M&E uses 2 commands and prevents their return.

I only really ever play Perfectionist anymore, so I barely notice M&E. The fact that its existence irks some people so much is hilarious to me. They freaking gave us a difficulty mode that doesn't have it specifically because they know some of us don't like it. But no, not good enough. There are people out there using M&E, and we're offended. lol.

Also, I'd like rolling back (every time I have to zig-zag around a sniper's laser sight in Blacklist, I wish I could roll) and not jumping in general, but the split jump really needs to come back. If there's one legacy feature that I really think is too much of a signature element to be left out, it's the split jump. That could easily be done via the climbing commands, though, no need to scrap something else for it. Same with the roll.
