YES
NO
I don't. Remove these 2 useless commands (Mark command, Execute command.) and bring back something useful...
like the jump and the roll.
Xbox One commands for SC7:
A = Interact/Multiple Interaction
B = Crouch/Hold for Roll
X = Hand to Hand/Hold for Grab as Humanshield
Y = Jump
D-Pad Up = Vision Mode
D-Pad Left = Fast gadget switch
D-Pad Right = Fast weapon switch
D-Pad Down = Holster Weapon
LB = Selection Wheel
LT = Aim
RB = While aiming depending on your weapon: OCP/Gadget Launcher/Grenade Launcher/Throw hand-grenade (Flashbang/Sleeping nade/Frag nade etc.)
RT = Fire
LS = Cover
RS = Sticky cam control
What do you think?
Hehehe
As if the roll was usefull.... Half the time I got stuck in cover when rolling, the agent was all the time rolling over his rifle and I didn't find it that useful.
Anyway, we have been over this a lot of times. I know all hardcore SC players, even the Panthers, nowadays pride themselves in being able to pull of the things M&E does without the use of M&E manually by themselves, but Ubisoft seems to like it and it is unlikely they will remove it.
Do I like it ? No
Do I use it? No
Do others use it? Some do.
Is it realistic? No
Do I think it is too easy ? Yes.
Do I think the keys/buttons could be used in a better way? Definitely
Do I mind it being there? Not necessarily.
Do I think they will remove it ? No
A shame the Xbox One hasn't more buttons on the controller/gamepad.
Anyway, M&E and KIM is a thing we need to accept and learn to live with.
Non the less I agree that the controls should be better next time, and active sprint seriously has to go (separation of sprinting and jumping over obstacles. The idea was good, but the number of fails is too high (accidentally kicking in doors, jumping over objects and over ledges or over railings, using a zip-line, etc.).
Don't use M&E/KIM. They take away from the game.
But ---- They offer the game some replayability if you're a completionist. Those achievements keep me going back and trying things I generally never would in a normal playthrough.
The roll should be back. Love that. The jump hasn't really felt like It's too much of a problem for me. I'm content with not having it. Jumping and climbing is more available than ever without free-jump.
you mean my picture? Thanks!Originally Posted by Singham2011 Go to original post![]()
Make it optional, because marks are very useful in co-op when you're trying to explain your plan to your partner, especially using text chat.Originally Posted by Gagtag1 Go to original post
Basically It's cheat, so don't bring it back.Originally Posted by Gagtag1 Go to original post
I think that it's funny that each time Ubi tries to innovate, they end up spending a bunch of money and getting mixed feedback. When they could easily just improve on what they were already doing really well. For example, PT ---> CT. OMG everyone loved it even more than PT and it probably took less money to make than starting all over again.
But, you know, why would Ubisoft take the fan's opinions into consideration? That would be just silly and productive.

Did you know? There was a concept and even an animation for the Split Jump prepared. The final decision however was that because it only worked in close hallways it was not worth it.
