no matter what i do the framerate won't unlock. so when i turn vsync off my game still runs at 30 but also has huge amounts of screen tearing. what's weird is my fps counter says roughly 60, but it's still as choppy as 30. i know this isn't a problem with my monitor, it's a 60hz monitor and other games work fine on it...
It only unlocks to what it should be when i lower the resolution, but 1080p is labelled with "60hz" so there is no reason why it's locking my display refresh rate at 30. i have tried changing this setting in the .ini file, from 60 to 0 to 120, nothing works.
I have not seen anyone else with my problem, so if anyone can help at all it would be appreciated. i don't want to have to be forced to play this game at 720p.
specs: GPU: gtx760, CPU: i5 3570k 3.4ghz, RAM: 8gb
