    Green Day a big band??

    I'm really disappointed on Rocksmith dev to be honest... Why call Green Day "big"? You know what is big ? The Doors, Led Zeppelin, AC DC, The Who, Rolling Stones, CCR, Jimi Hendrix.... Not Green Day..... Rocksmith dev I'm really disappointed on you.....

    http://www.theriffrepeater.com/why-y...-on-rocksmith/

    "The Who, Rolling Stones, CCR"

    Who all have music on Rocksmith

    "Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin"

    Three bands that are unlikely to ever be on Rocksmith

    Also AC/DC is boring, I'd rather play one Green Day song from Dookie than 5 4/4 time, 3 chord, AC/DC songs...

    Cheers

    PS: AiC is coming out on Tuesday as well for PS3

    I gotta say they are, even though all the bands you listed are bigger they still are pretty big. I also got a bit disappointed after reading the hint on AMA, but hey it's not like they're gonna launch Conway Twitty as DLC.

    @OP:
    I'm just as disappointed as you, but that doesn't mean you should create an entire thread about it when there's already other threads discussing the DLC. Sometimes you get DLC you like and sometimes you don't, but insulting Bands isn't really going to get you more future DLC that you like.

    @Toy:
    Which songs are you referring to? I can't think off the top of my head an AC/DC song without a guitar solo or additional riff of some kind? (Or at least one that isn't a deep cut which Rocksmith wouldn't likely choose as DLC anyway) Not that I'm that into AC/DC, I'm just curious

    A solo doesn't make up for the boredom and tedium I experience whenever I listen to their music.

    Oh, Ok. It's kinda funny, cause I feel the same way when I listen to Green Day, except without the awesome Guitar Solos Different Strokes.

    The Doors were a big band once. Not so many people care about The Doors anymore.

    Meh, I guess not. I still think AC/DC's Guitar Solos and riffs would make the songs more fun to play than Green Days' though Or at least for me they would.
