    Modifying Character/weapon Sounds?

Hi, im currently working on some fun mods for far cry, and for one of them, i would like to replace some of the character voices. i extracted the data and i have 3 folders: common, fc3_main and multicommon. Now if i go to fc3_main\dialog\pirate_01 i have a folder called stimuli with a bunch of 1kb files without an extension and and outside it i have a 3kb file called pirate_01.stimuli.dsc. Are these the sound files? If so how would i extract and modify them? I've also tried opening the spk's in the soundbinary folder but they are only abmient sound effects. No character or weapon sounds. Anyone know how i can do this?

    Thanks!

I highly doubt a 3kb file is audio. Most audio files are anywhere from a hundred kb to full megabytes.
