    AC IV: Black Flag- Multiplayer GAMEPLAY Feedback *Possible Spoilers*

    Hello Assassin's!

    Please use the following thread for any gameplay feedback including modes, perks, etc while playing Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Multiplayer.

    Do not post multiplayer story spoilers of any kind in this thread!

    If you have spotted a bug, please report it directly to Support, if you have other things to say, please check below for a list of threads which may be more appropriate.



    Use this thread to post about what you like and what you don't like about the game, but please do not go into detail about the multiplayer games story line.


    Many people may get the game after release, so do not post any spoilers!

    Please make sure to also report any bugs, issues or code problems directly to Ubisoft Support immediately!

    When you contact Support - please provide them with as much detail as possible, answer all replies from them and answer those requests within 48 hours - to avoid your question being marked as solved.

    The first reply from support maybe a simple FAQ - this is normal - if that does not solve the issue, reply and inform them!

    If for what ever reason your question is marked as solved, remember you have 48 hours to reopen it - please also do not make multiple support requests for the same issue, this may delay support answering you.

    Nevermind!

    Does anyone else have trouble playing? My T.V freezes every 5 seconds for a period of 2 seconds each time, it gets annoying.

    I put in a few hours and didn't have any issues of that kind. I always unplug my router and plug straight into my xbox for ubi games though, seems to not be happy otherwise.

    Maps, personas, and music all seem to be either above average or excellent (except for the Nightstalker who's still completely lame). Spirit of the changes is great but actual implementation needs to be improved; Wanted absolutely needs to have escape sequences or some other way to get rid of pursuers besides stuns. Fair number of weird bugs; for instance I had a pursuer run right up to me and I hit the contest/stun button and then he ran backwards 20 yards in a second, stunned a guy and ran forwards 20 yards to kill me a half second after that. I'm assuming this is lag but who knows.

    I agree with Carbiner about escapes in Wanted. Removing them changes the character of the mode a lot and I don't think it's an improvement.

    Hi, ubisoft, when someone is stunned in manhunt for exemple, when he gets up no one else in your team can stun him like after 3 seconds. Can you please update a version of the multiplayer where your teammates can stun lock a player(when he gets uo) who was stunned by you and do not wait 3 seconds?Like in AC3..

    The contract system: Is even worse.

    1. Pretty much 95% of my targets always have 2+ pursuers on them. All the time. Never get a single target with just me after him.

    2. Still getting assigned next to all the freaking time.

    3. Starting matches with multiple pursuers is STILL a thing. Stupid unfair and unlucky advantage.

    Also what's up with knife stunning? It seems 50/50 now, it likes to randomly just not work. Is there something different we need to do? Anyone know?

    I'm glad someone else is having this, I'm currently discussing it in my Tips and Tricks thread here. Maybe in time we'll have a reason.

    Short version: AC4's multiplayer is ****. It is easily the worst one yet, and that includes Revelations with their boring-as-hell character models.

    Long version:

    1) Removal of chases.
    Before, people who charged in were punished by the chase system - it lost them their target and gave their victim points (and a possible free stun). Now, you can just run your victim down with impunity. You can make more noise than a nuclear holocaust, and yet you still get pretty much as many points as the guy who remembers he's playing a stealth-based game.

    2) Whispers.
    You know what really ruins stealth? Omniscient targets. You always know when you are about to be attacked, so you can always make a run for it. This was the problem with AC3 as well - the moment you get close your target bolts for the far end of the map and you are out of a kill. Whispers are a terrible mechanic and should never have been included.

    3) Lazy / sloppy Game Lab implementation.
    What is the point of Game Lab when we can't play other people's modes, can't share modes and can't play our own modes? Game Lab offers a way to work around the idiocy of the multiplayer, then prevents us from doing so because of the idiocy of the multiplayer. Game Lab should be there to give Assassin's Creed fans actual Assassin's Creed gameplay, not pander do the CoD crowd - you're already pandering to them with every other mode.

    I really have to agree with every word you wrote. Please bring back Chases and bring back Killing after Stunning some one in Assassinate. If you outsmarted your Pursuer and get to stun him you should also get the chance to kill him.

    And believe me I suck at Assassinate. So I get outsmarted all the time and get stunned.

    Don't get me wrong. I like the Multiplayer but there are a few things that should be changed to make it better.
