Random Crashing, "Far Cry 3 is not responding...."

First of all to mods, if this is in the wrong area please just move it wherever, PLEASE do not delete, first time posting so I'm not too sure, just trying to get as much views as I can to get any kind of assistance.

    PC Specs
    4GB RAM
    Win 7 64 bit
    DirectX 11
    intel i5-2500k CPU
    intel(r) HD Graphics 3000
(I was told some peripherals may cause problems so, I have a razer deathadder mouse and a logitech g930 headset)

NOTE, I can run the game perfectly to my standards on "optimal" graphic settings, which auto sets everything to low. I haven't checked the exact number but my frame rate is fine and at no point during gameplay (even graphic intensive battles or driving) do I experience any kind of screen stutter or lag.

The BUG / CRASH, at completely random intervals, anywhere from 5 minutes to my max of 30 minutes of game time, the game will crash, and I will not be able to try to get windows to determine why, (it closes the crash dialog box before I can do anything else, so I have no real idea what kind of crash I am getting.) I do however have a folder in User Name > AppData > Local > Crashdumps, with 8 far cry .DMP files, which I have no idea how to interpret or open, if that has anything to do with this.

I have scoured a lot of different forums to try to look for a fix but to no avail have I found a guaranteed fix or from a valid source (an employee of somewhere).

    Possible FIXES that didn't work.
-Supposedly running in dx9 over dx11 is an auto fix for some people, but the game wont even launch for me when I try to run in dx11 so I have always been in dx9
-Running as admin in compatibility mode, for win xp service pack / disable visual themes / disable desktop composition. (This was said to be done on two separate application programs, which I did)
-Running as windowed or borderless mode in a low resolution
-Running with no programs in the background
    -Running with firewall off
    -Updating C++ / .NET / Graphics Card / Drivers

I refuse to believe that this game has been out for several years and there isn't a true fix to this, so please any help would be appreciated.

There still is no fix for the stability issues - put more ram in and the problem will soften but not go away.

How do you know its the RAM, from what I've seen from literally 100's of forum pages on this bug there is plenty of people with the same problem with more RAM....

also I have now edited my post I hope you didn't think I had 4 MB of RAM, since its 4 GB. regardless I don't think this has anything to do with hardware let alone the RAM, but if you have better information feel free to enlighten me.

I never said it's the RAM and you're right the problem is likely not the frontend but the backend.

Maybe try a dedicated graphics card like a Nvidia Geforce GTX 760 or similar.. Never have liked onboard graphics no matter what sales people tell you.
No need to be rude to people as above who like myself are trying to help you. That sort of attitude well get you nowhere.

I certainly feel like being rude to you flybyme, but I'll refrain because you seem to be very thin skinned and frail, since my previous comment was anything but rude, I was just asking questions and stating facts.

    "Get more RAM."
    "Get a new Graphics Card."
    "Update Drivers."

These aren't solutions in my opinion, they are a cop out to inflate post score.

But you also need to understand that my agitation isn't directed at you but a bug that has been around for years on a supposedly triple a title game.

Well don't expect anymore help from me or Butcherbird59. Funny I don't get any random crashes with a decent graphics card. Have played the game 3 times. BTW the game has only been out since December 2012.

I just find it humorous that you can talk on other peoples behalf and judge my post as being rude for him. And like I've said I don't expect any worthwhile help from you flybyme.

Being on several forums, I noticed from time to time, that people frustrate each other without a real reason.
Whenever you post something, you always need to check if someone else might be offended by your post.
There might have been some editing in these posts above, but I don't see why you people need to react this way.

My thoughts are these: Remember I'm also trying to help you.
Swift231, 4GB might be enough, but 8 GB will be much better playable.
Your graphics is certainly not up to the task, hence, the game puts everyting to "low" in optimal setup.
I guess your CPU is just a dual core? Sounds like you are trying to play with a moderate laptop. Am I right?
