Don't know that much about this sort of stuff, but I seriously doubt an update will bring back one's save-game that has already disappeared.

dude - this problem is ...this update from uplay dont accept my old savegame files... i have a copy from the savegames files..but uplay + steam + the old savegames dont work....uplay problem <--
