Hey,
This is actually an issue I've had since Conviction as well, but now that I've got Blacklist, I realize that it isn't an issue exclusive to the former. I log in to Uplay and go online in-game just fine, always, but for some reason I can never join other sessions and when I try to host my own, no one ever joins (I imagine they can't.) It doesn't matter how long I wait, nothing ever happens and I just can't believe the online activity is so... nearly non existing.
It doesn't matter which game it is (only have the two Splinter Cells) nor which game type. There are no error messages. When I try to join a session, the pop-up windows says "attempting to join session" a few times (mostly 3,) before going into hosting instead. Where, as I mentioned, no one ever joins.
Does anyone, please, know what's going on? I have SO been looking forward to Spies Vs. Mercs, just like in the good old days of Pandora Tomorrow.
If it helps:
I am running Windows 7 x86
Have a fiber LAN connection to the Internet
I use the Uplay Deluxe Edition
Hi MadsBraas:
I found this for you on the Ubisosft Support website - http://ubisoft.custhelp.com/app/answ..._id/13514/p/88
What internet ports are required for Splinter Cell Conviction?
If you have a router in your home network, please make sure that you have the latest firmware installed for that device. Your router manufacturer should be able to help you complete this update.
- In addition, the following ports will need to be open in your router or any firewall software you may be running:
9103, 9100, 10196 (UDP outbound/inbound)
80, 3081, 3105 (TCP outbound)
22350 - 22380 (TCP inbound)
If you are unsure of how ports work, the best course of action may be to contact your router manufacturer, system administrator or ISP for more information.
If this doesn't help, please contact Support so they can offer you a solution.

Thanks; I will try this - Are there any Blacklist specific ports also? That's the game I wanna play after all.Originally Posted by Ubi-Lhainiev Go to original post
Okay peeps, here's what's up.
I've done everything said in Ubi-Lhainiev' post. I've also done everything to the letter, found here: https://support.ubi.com/en-gb/FAQ.as...0000000eZ4PCAU and here: https://support.ubi.com/en-US/FAQ.as...0000000eZEfCAM
I've also double checked everything. It's all in order. It still doesn't workIf anyone finds a fix for this ridiculously stupid issue, please let me know.
I've jumped in on an identical problem here: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...-connect-to-me
If you find a fix, please post it there also.
I've been playing Blacklist all day with no problems, but I just loaded up the game so I can play some more and I realized it loads the game from the beginning intro. I haven't reset my computer or changed any system files. But I lost about 4-5 hours of progress (about 4 missions into the game).
I really want to complete the game.. but I kinda lost interest as I don't wanna invest more hours and hours of time to have it vanished again.
Has anyone else experienced this.. or have a solution to prevent it from happening again.. or better yet get my progress back? I even still have the achievements and what-not on my UPlay. What a bummer...
Thanks in advance.
Found out how to fix it; link: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...ct-to-me/page2
I just had that problem this morning. I went to start up blacklist and it wouldn't start no matter how much i tried. So i re-installed Uplay (it was the only thing i could do). When i finally was able to load up Uplay i clicked play on blacklist and it reset my progress. I own two gaming computers and both have had these same problems with Uplay. It is the service they provide. If your Uplay messes up just say goodbye to all your saved data INCLUDING your multiplayer level. So all in all "Screw you Ubisoft! Stay on consoles and leave the DRM to steam K?"
