    Companion App gameplay!

Today at Gamescon, a new Video of the Companion App was released. It shows how you apply buffs to your team and enemies, a view of the missile attack that's available, and a hint of how you move the drone around.

So get watching, and lets tear this thing apart for info!!

Agreed! I want to know whether it'll work on all tablets? I have a 1st Gen. iPad that I got really cheaply, but Im not sure it'll work on it!
Also, can you play on Console (or PC!) and play on Tablet at the same time?

I was also under the impression smartphones could perform these tasks.... I hope it also applied to them the UI didn't seen too cluttered I would just need to zoom in and out often which I wouldn't mind doing.

One thing I did notice, was a "force-push" type move.
Just after the lead player had dropped the seeker-mine and watched it explode, he charges in, and finishes the 3 enemies off with some kind of blast wave.
Now I'm a little bit concerned about this, as it just seems pretty ridiculous in my opinion. I mean I know it's a game and all, but there's nothing in real life that could do anything like that!
What are your thoughts on it, and what do you think of having that as a skill?

    p.s. Extraction by Blackhawk anyone?!

In q&a thread it was somewhat confirmed that the companion app would be released on both android and ios, and i remember in the one of the reddit q&a's something about versions it was working on. so while probaby most phones and pad's would be able to run it it might need updated software.

about the skill that was seen; seems like some form of charge skill. in another thread i have sugessted a skill like this, though this seems somwhat overpowered and perhaps not viable tech wise. it could be explained as some sort of localised shockwave of some sort emination from the player. perhaps a form of electrical discharge? in another frame you can see the skill icon for it and it looks like a shilouette with an explosion around it. might mean that you run towards you enemies and somehow eject small explosive divices that detonate all around you but does no harm to you? not sure.
it might be workable but at the same time there are some things that are somewhat wonky with the realism of some of the skills we have seen so far. so maby we shouldnt be to finniky
