i would really like to see some future maps set in snow covered mountains and forest regions.
for the first expansion why not sweden? start in stockholm pushing south through to malmo. having future expansions for the rest of europe pushing to london, uk then dublin, ireland and back to north africa. too much??
most companies think about DLC as much as 8 months before even the launch of the game.....its sad really to be thinking that far ahead on what your going to add on to the game with so much time till the launch date.

As long as they don't pull an EA though where day one DLC is bought, I'll be happy.

the way i have seen it possible is going on specific missions out of new york. One of the main objectives for the Division is to find the origin of the disease and expedite the development of a cure. Perhaps this will involve traveling to areas outside of america(or inside) to smaller areas like the area sorrounding a WHO lab or inside a abandoned military installation, could work like a form of dungeon.

Apart from that i would like to see more equipment and such stuff, it actually gives a reason to continue salvaging and exploring areas you have entered. also:

    1) New kinds of missions and "incidents". for example, the devs have stated that random events such as ambushes, attacked police personel and stuff is in. new and different ones adds to the game not going stale and predictable(defiance: where you know what is going to happen based on how cars are parked).

    2) The natural faltering of society, it would be quite improbable that the city would look the same after say six months after society started crumbling. For example: Hotspots(like policestation) could change and stop being a police station and instead be staffed bu a local militia, the skins of npc's could change to look more ragged and less societal.(even if police still exist, they might not wear policeuniforms because they are worn out and no new ones are coming) also vegetation, trees and stuff could change to look like more time has passed.

    3) New story arcs. the story is partly about finding a cure right? how about each DLC(or other addition) comes with a clue that sends you off in a specific direction(perhaps a Lab in france) or the original terrorists orchestrating some incidents(riots, fires, occupations, misinformation) that you have to stop.

    4) General map layout changes, by destroying certain houses, changing locations on critical locations and Darkzones. this would force players to regularly change tactics and favorite travellocations.

Another big part for me is how the DLC is released.
I would much prefer to have small updates come often rather than like one big every six months. kind of like how the secret world does(or tries to) with once a month. or how hellgate said they would with small stuff shucked in all the time(almost as content was implemented as it was compleated) this might be hard on consoled(ive heard about patching issues) but i still think it would be great.
but the idea is that one day you log on and the darkzones have changed, or a certain location is unreachable, or there are widesperead riots in the entire city.

and as said before, im really hoping this game is going to be awsome.

    ^^ This is brilliant.

In THE DIVISION I think you should be able to use the enviroment, for example: You are exploring a building , a apartment, and you should be able to move objects to create a good safe house for you or your team, considering that the world will be full of other clans.

And they should also incorporate some sort of sleeping system, ( you find some place safe or try to build your own like i stated before ), this would play a huge role causing the game to be played slowly but balanced. For instance: Your character feels tired, you go to sleep while your teammate covers you, or both go to sleep if you know someone is not comming, if only one sleeps the other would be watching the streets from the window or even listening to the world ( By opening the map interface to understand what is going on ), but the one watching can also go to the streets if he feels like.

I am saying this because... I don't feel like playing such an amazing game with a super hero character that never gets tired and just needs water and food to survive.

Now back to the DLCs, in my opinion the PARIS eiffel tower, destroyed landscape would be amazing.

I would also love to see Oculus Rift Virtual reality simulator being used in this game ( though i dont think it will work because it works more balanced in first person shooters, but maybe when you move your head the character would move the screen to wherever you are losing. like a second mouse, after watching some videos about OCULUS you will understand what i am saying ) or razer hydra or something better i dont know... it is the developers job haha .

    Greetings,
    FENix

totally agree, don't make the game then try to cut content out to sell back.

    Tokyo DLC

    Hey Guys,

I was thinking, if there is DLC to be made in different countries, I'd enjoy a Tokyo DLC.
I think it would make for an interesting change of scenery and gangs

Well.... you are right about the building mechanics, people would eventually build forts, but i like that idea that you have to go on missions to collect some parts and build yourself a safehouse, GOOD IDEA!

Thanks for updating me about the food etc.

As DLC's I have realised the everyone is loving the PARIS destroyed landscape idea haha. I did think about a underground feature, but yours seems a more structured idea, seems cool that way.

And about Oculus Rift I seriously dont know if it works on consoles... I must search! SEARCH! haha

Maybe a dlc that allows Big us to go in cities that we live near? Or dlc adding of course new content like weapons, armors, equipment and such.

To properly map out a city, build all the buildings, etc. you'd be basically looking at a whole new mini-game for them to make. Unless thats what they have planned for DLC? Maybe a few weapons, items and gear here and there, and then one MASSIVE (get it... cos it's made by Massive? ha :/ ) download after like 5-6 months or whatever...

It would be an awesome extension, but Im just not holding out TOO much hope at the moment. Lets let them get the game out first :P
    Yes mate haha "MASSIVE" .

We know they wont be sending a full map in every DLC, because the actual map is huge and will take alot of time to explore every single corner of it, but maybe after some months like 6/7 months, we might just get tired of the same map and weapons, character customization... things... and a DLC by that time would be awesome.. to refresh our gaming experience. i dont care if i have to pay 40 euros ( whatever currency, in my case is euros ) for that DLC, because I know that what I am going to buy is going to be "MASSIVE" ( beast ).

But between big MAP DLC's, they should release some free content, like some new weapons, gears like some of you stated before

On the point of forts. The game from what I understand will be loading diffrent events and potentaly diffrent versions of the same area as you free roam around the world. So things may be totally diffrent when you come back threw later. If there are home bases they probably be pre designated because the lack of focus on survival. But I personaly would have had fun with a survival game State of Decay was a fun but to short game.

I would love to see a forest/mountain setting but the virus wouldn't effect a forest the way it affects city's because there simply aren't as many people. But maybe due to thick fog or a storm you have to insert into a forest at the edge of a city. But I just don't see a completely wooded setting.

Alaska would be cool if it were during the dark months. And as for radioactive I would love to see Chernobyl incorporated somehow, that place is so freakin' interesting.

As far as the settings I hope they are different from each other. For instance Scotland, Moscow, Paris, Peshawar, Berlin, Peru, maybe somewhere tropical. I just don't want to see the same American cities or any similar ones for that matter.
