The game doesn't come out for another year and a half, and people are already making suggestions on what they want to see in the game. The Division is going to be an amazing game. It has been confirmed that The Division is a game to be added onto, not a game that's going to have a sequel. Once I read that, I automatically assumed DLC. Now the real question is, what DLC would you like to see? For me personally, I would love to see an expansion into a woodsy state, such as Oregon, or Colorado, where you're in a National Park, having to scavenge through nearby Ranger Stations, and you have to go through the woods scavenging outposts and hidden cabins. I would love to see that added on to a game like this. If not that, I want to take a trip to a dark, scary place, in some sort of city. Its dark, and all you have for like is the barely lit street lamps. Now enough about what I want. What do YOU want for DLC?

I must agree with you, THE DIVISION will be an amazing game. I just want them to confirm it on PC so i can pre-order it as soon as possible.
I would love to see some sort of forest scene, or maybe with some sort of radioactive place, that forces you to use a suit that you can only get in certain locations causing you to travel to get the suit and by that delivering you the option to do some other quests or even forcing you to play against other players in what they call the dark zones, and once you get the suit you come back to radioactive place.
They should allow us to play in other places in the world... for example america ( cause the game is focused in one part of america ), europe, PARIS for example the eiffel tower destroyed that would be amazing and even snow countrys like russia, or more tropical ones... like africa, causing the developers to make new characters some kind of new plot for the diferrent places. but of course all of this would take alot of time to put together,, but it if they manage to create that, this game will last for years in my opinion.

Yep, i would love to see big world interaction, imagine you join a clan and you decide that half of the clan plays in america and the other half plays in some other part of the world, i know this is hard to pull but rly rewarding, im not saying that we are able to travel from america to europe to meet with the clan for example because it sounds impossible due to how destroyed the world is in the game.
But maybe in future DLC's as I stated previously.
By the way, in what platform are you hoping to play the game?

Ahhhh, I still think they will eventually release THE DIVISION for pc with or without the petition, because assassins 3 if im not wrong, was released 1 or 2 months later after the console versions.
I had a xbox 360 i liked it but i didn't feel well to make my parents or me waste money on that, though the 12 months GOLD membership was quite cheap. So I sold my xbox 360 and bought a guitar haha.
But if I still had a xbox 360 and was aiming toward a next gen console, at the moment I would throw my money at PS4. But in my opinion XBOX ONE will be a beast if they change some stuff.
well... in the stories that i read the ugly duck became a swan, and i think that is what will happen to XBOX ONE.
Since I am a PC player this is just my opinion.

Just as long as it doesnt pull an EA. Giving us small stuff, new clothes, or weapons that are over priced. I would love to see extensive side stories new areas like peole have said take us to mlre rural areas in new york. Maybe an explenation whats goin on with yhe rest of the world/usa. But most of my hometown D.C. :P What has made ubisoft a set aside from other games is its extensive detail inside its map making with real world imto gameplay.

A lot of good ideas in this thread. I would love to see other venues, especially europe. but im a bit of a story nut so it would have to fit in storywise.
the way i have seen it possible is going on specific missions out of new york. One of the main objectives for the Division is to find the origin of the disease and expedite the development of a cure. Perhaps this will involve traveling to areas outside of america(or inside) to smaller areas like the area sorrounding a WHO lab or inside a abandoned military installation, could work like a form of dungeon.
Apart from that i would like to see more equipment and such stuff, it actually gives a reason to continue salvaging and exploring areas you have entered. also:
1) New kinds of missions and "incidents". for example, the devs have stated that random events such as ambushes, attacked police personel and stuff is in. new and different ones adds to the game not going stale and predictable(defiance: where you know what is going to happen based on how cars are parked).
2) The natural faltering of society, it would be quite improbable that the city would look the same after say six months after society started crumbling. For example: Hotspots(like policestation) could change and stop being a police station and instead be staffed bu a local militia, the skins of npc's could change to look more ragged and less societal.(even if police still exist, they might not wear policeuniforms because they are worn out and no new ones are coming) also vegetation, trees and stuff could change to look like more time has passed.
3) New story arcs. the story is partly about finding a cure right? how about each DLC(or other addition) comes with a clue that sends you off in a specific direction(perhaps a Lab in france) or the original terrorists orchestrating some incidents(riots, fires, occupations, misinformation) that you have to stop.
4) General map layout changes, by destroying certain houses, changing locations on critical locations and Darkzones. this would force players to regularly change tactics and favorite travellocations.
Another big part for me is how the DLC is released.
I would much prefer to have small updates come often rather than like one big every six months. kind of like how the secret world does(or tries to) with once a month. or how hellgate said they would with small stuff shucked in all the time(almost as content was implemented as it was compleated) this might be hard on consoled(ive heard about patching issues) but i still think it would be great.
but the idea is that one day you log on and the darkzones have changed, or a certain location is unreachable, or there are widesperead riots in the entire city.
and as said before, im really hoping this game is going to be awsome.

even though anything DLC is a long long way off its a nice idea to get some ideas circulating.
i would really like to see some future maps set in snow covered mountains and forest regions.
for the first expansion why not sweden? start in stockholm pushing south through to malmo. having future expansions for the rest of europe pushing to london, uk then dublin, ireland and back to north africa. too much??
