Playing FB and reading here has taught me much about an aspect of WWII that we mostly are not even given hints off in U.S schools.
Its also got me wondering, since Knights over Europe is coming, if there will be any Russian built planes in that game.
After doing a admittedly weak google browse I have found lots of info on Russian aces but very little on planes other than something called a Anatra bi-wing.
It seems that at least early in the conflict they were using French and British models. If anyone with more than my seriously lacking knowledge can recommend good books or links I would really appreciate it.
