I've completed the Campaign & have just started the Chronicles of Tandria. I am under constant attack & would like to recruit generals for my various castles but the 'generals' tag is missing from the tavern. I have a stronghold. Also why is it always at dusk - it is very difficult to see your buildings.

Also why is it always at dusk - it is very difficult to see your buildings.

You can't recruit generals in this mission. You get them as rewards by fullfilling quests.
