I've never played a game with assistsand auto trans except Simraceway, where ceratain cars are SO hard to keep them on track... I'm not a little kid, Ubisoft.Originally Posted by A Dodgy Camel Go to original post
I've played Forza, Gran Turismo and Project CARS in Simulation mode with a gamepad and could control the car ok (albeit not as good as a wheel), but this in itself is an intrinsically rewarding game element - mastering the handling.
Back in TDU1 I never played in Hardcore mode to begin with, until I wanted to play online with the guys at TDU-Central, where there was a bit of peer pressure for everyone to use H mode - I'm so glad I took the time to learn it because it alone (beside the multiplayer aspect) is what kept me playing year after year. In such a large world, every corner you approach is a potential drift challenge with a risk of screwing up and looking like a muppet in front of my mates =)
That said, I predominately plan to play this with the Fanatec CSR Elite on PC. Hope there's TrackIR or Oculus Rift support.
You know those wheels work on consoles too, well at least they work on Sony consoles. But personally I haven't decided what platform I'm playing. Doesn't matter if it's console or PC, wheel or controller, I want my controls and aids able to customize.Originally Posted by Bezrider Go to original post
Yes I know people use a wheel on consoles and that not all people on PC play with a wheel , I was generalising because the PC does not come with a game controller and a console dose therefore more people on consoles would tend to play with the controller.Originally Posted by snaketus Go to original post
