Hi and welcome to the forum,
Please try the following;
'Assign your Wii U to a FIXED IP address and ALL your freezes will disappear. There's an error in the OS software where the Wii U tries to piggyback on another appliance's IP, which causes random conflicts in the network, causing the Wii U to crash. If you assign a fixed IP (done in the router; then use that IP in your Wii U connection), the Wii U will not piggyback anymore.'
Thanks,I will try that tonightOriginally Posted by Ubi-Mush Go to original post
Hi, I ve been experiencing the same problem, with freezes upon loading the 2nd section of the workout. I have assigned a fixed IP in the Router, I have also switched from any kind of auto-config and manually entered all relevant connection data. Yet, the problem still remains the same.Originally Posted by Ubi-Mush Go to original post
I would welcome any kind of solution and even a more detailed explanation of the reason given in the above post. How does the Wii U piggyback on another appliance's IP? There is only one IP for a device in the network, at least, as far as I know. And how is a fixed IP supposed to fix such a problem ? Would the network conflicts care if the IP is dynamic or not? Even if there is no futher solution to my problem, I would still like to be informed about the reasons behind this error. The above explanation does not make sense to me.
Many thanks
Hi, I suggest contacting Technical Support https://support.ubi.com
I have the exact same problem as described above. I have done part one of the first workout five times and everytime the game hangs when trying to load part two. I assigned the console a fixed-IP address but this did not make any difference. I also logged a ticket with Technical Support two weeks ago but have still not had an answer. Can anyone here help?Originally Posted by Ubi-MoshiMoshi Go to original post
