I am not asking if there is going to be, i am asking if you players want a combat system, who knows maybe there will be happening, but since i was going to ask this question in the Q&A i change my mind, the fact that is to early for the Dev's to answer such question as this...then there will be not surprise .
I will like to know your ideas that you can imagine how the combat system will be in this game. (by that i mean disarm and hit players.)
I really will like to think there will be, since is Tom Clancy's games have to do with espionage tactics and most of his games have sort of game. I will like to think that there will be a way of sneaking behind other players or npc's in this random missions and make a awesome hand to hand combat. And behind able to organized with my team of players some sort of tactic way of taking down my enemy hangout without using the method of "guns blazing fight" kind of way, figure it as a tactic sneaking to be able to disarm my enemies or npc's or other players. But since there will be pvp. I guess this won't be implemented with other playes online, but it can be for the npc's. And it might happen in a situation you are close to the other player, if that happen.
There are times in many games where I'd prefer stealth over an simple assault. If anything you'd think that silencers would come into play at some point. As for the question of hand to hand combat (or CQC - close quarters combat if you prefer) I can see it working well against NPCs. Disarming and silencing your foe before they can alert the others of your presence. I can imagine taking a guy down with a choke hold or a context take down. Slam their head into the wall or bend them backwards before snapping their neck. Vicious, yes, but effective. That aside when dealing with PC it gets tricky. No one wants to be taken down so easily. They want a chance to escape or some kind of saving throw should someone get close enough to get the drop on them. At best I'd think a paper rock scissors like clash where the defender and attacker each input a button and hope to win. If anyone has played Injustice Gods Among Us, something like that. In the even of a tie both are knocked back giving room to bring weapons to bear.
i would prefer shooting or like ambush stealth i do not wanna put myself in the danger of getting to close not finishing the job and they have time enough to pull there weapon but i think i heard on one of the videos that if you wanted to get up close and personal that shotguns were for CQC (Close Quater Combat)
I really enjoyed the CQC in mgs4, especially online. Choking someone unconscious was always fun.(got me killed a lot)
I would like to be able to try and stealth my way in to some mission doing stealth take downs and such.

In the gameplay trailer at 3:09 on the 5th skill tier the second icon from the left appears to be some kind of close combat skill. The Icon depicts 2 people with a rifle between them, my guess is that it's a disarm ability. As for actual hand to hand combat I have no idea, some games automatically switch to punching the target instead of shooting if he/she is close enough maybe they'll include that.
