i was watching DoobiePerp Tom Clancy's The Division E3 Gameplay Trailer Breakdown & Analysis and when he zoomed in the map at the end of the video i noticed something 2 different fraction that im assuming there will be 2 Factions one with a ruff and tough shoot ask questions later save yourself and another which is help people give them med kits
if you notice on the picture with the pvp battles you will see what i assume the clan names like 50. Cal, Raven, Blacklisted but if you notice one is red and one is white why would they need 2 different colors on a map unless there hinting that there are 2 different fractions like this is your enemy they are in red but on the map in every battle theres a red and theres a white only seperated by what i assume is an extraction timer
Terror Reigns Vs H.O.P.E (lets me know the Faction is white letters are the more good guys/help everyone Factions since they named there clan hope and the Fraction with the red letters clan named theres Terror Reigns hint me there the save urself shoot first ask later Fraction) *Hint* the game name Division since its the same agency they most likley split over ideas
50 cal Vs Raven
CHAOS Vs Blacklisted
Brew Crew Vs Protectors
Prime Vs Requiem
Juggernaut Vs Brooklyn Zoo
Iron Sheild Vs Malmo
Those are guilds....Not factions. Please quit calling them fractions because they aren't mathematical equations. Secondly, that map at the end probably isn't even gameplay related, it's just something that looks cool that they tacked on at the end to put the logo onto. We've seen the ingame map at the beginning of the demo.Originally Posted by iking007 Go to original post
that's spot on, those tags are more likely to be either guild/clan names or a squad name instead, and for reasons why different members of the division would fight each other its simple... if you assume that all members of the division would know each other, and since in previous video's they've mentioned that members of the division are secret cells its kinda unlikely they'll know anyone outside of that cell.Originally Posted by roribeedm Go to original post
In that picture you showed, you'll also notice that the other squads outside the dark zone have a different colour, my guess is the difference of colours in the dark zone are to just distinguish that 2 squads are fighting, kinda like you see on scoreboards at the end of most FPS games, a red team and blue team score.

I do agree it appears to be 2 factions fighting it out, and I'm inclined to believe you got a possible point.
I do however think it is more likely that this is just a pvp battle between clans/teams/fireteams that have been painted in those specific colors Red and White in order to be visually more pleasing and to distinguish the dots.
and if you watch the dev interviews they said the agency is unamed as of right now and that the name of the game ties into the story line of a Division in the agency and i said they were clan names inside of the Division . Could be a map that you see from a PVP Hub of whats going on and Fractions Fractions Fractions = a part of a whole so if were talking about 2 different groups inside of ONE Agency... FractionsOriginally Posted by roribeedm Go to original post
I'll post here what I posted in your other thread:Originally Posted by iking007 Go to original post
"So in our fantasy," Cederstrom continued, "we had said that they have created an agency called The Division. [This is] our last hope when everything else fails. So when the Order 51 goes live, these agents get activated, and their job is to save what remains and try to restore society. They were embedded in civilian life since you can't trust that communication would work, or that transportation would work. They are already in place and have ordinary jobs as, you know, doctors, police officers, military, engineers, scientists, all those kind of jobs. Once they get activated they take their go-bag, they go out and try to save what remains."
taken from: http://www.polygon.com/e3-2013/2013/...vision-massive I would really suggest reading the "What we know" thread and going through all the source links at the bottom of the original post yourself. There really is a lot that we already know about the game and the story.
also where the clan was created lol most likely why there is a clan named Brooklyn Zoo someone liked the zoo to much be kinda cool if u could go to the zoo and see the tigers though lolOriginally Posted by mVLAINIC Go to original post
