Enemies will be able to swim and there'll be underwater combat.

Edward will be able to slit himself to attract sharks.

There'll be a beaked variant of Edward's robes whether or not it'll have anything to do with story.

Blackbeard will betray Edward. Woodes Rogers will turn out to be your true ally.

Eagle Vision will be extremely useful.

The story of Edward's life till his death will be covered in one game and not three.

If you go through the wiki, you'd see that there is actually ubderwater combat but it's made to combat sea animals. Maybe there's one for guards, who knows.

Throughout the story there will be various cutscenes featuring female nudity. However, there will not be any male nudity. As the credits roll though, the background will fade ever so slightly and when the credits end a picture of Edward bending over with his buttocks clearly on show is unveiled.
