It's my first time to buy an original game (AC3) and my first time to actually post on a forum and actually report a bug so please bear with me.

I have installed AC3 last year and only recently have I played it again.. Every time I tried to play, it would always have to patch new updates.
Just now though, I was playing for the first 4 minutes and suddenly there was this glitchy effect happening...words scattered on my screen, different unusual colours popping everywhere. the fps significantly decreases. It was a total disaster...I have been restarting my game for about 5 times now but every time, I still get the same results..

please help me..

and also, is there a way to just download all patches, I think my Uplay is compensating for the time I ignored the updates.

You are not having a bug. Your problem's answer has been stated by yourself...perhaps, you should STOP Ignoring the Updates...AND let Uplay finish installing ALL the Updates.

just fix the physics for the outfits ( altair and ezio ) and everyone is happy
