I played a game where my opponent was Sanctuary but he also used Haven cards ... is it possible or is it beer ????????

Maybe You talking about spell's. Sanctuary and Heaven have light spell but propably is a matter of beer :P

I made some mistakes like this in the beginning too. I mixed up spells and neutral fortunes with different factions.

Maybe were neutral creatures like wild griffin, dire wolf, helexian librarian, etc...
