    Any car in any race?

Just one question about the game. Will it allow us to pick any car for any event?

IMO the main problem of majority of open world racing games is that I can't use my favorite car the way I want. Most of events let me pick only a car belonging to a certain class. I hope in The Crew at least some races will be open for any vehicle.

i dont agree completely with that...
for example lets say there is a retro race with 50's or 60's cars... i cant just walk in with a Pagani and say, "guys...lets do this race!"...
..but i agree with customization/upgrade to lower level cars which can make them have access to higher level races... and customization to big extents, even to 2-3 tiers above its original level...

I would be OK with any car option. But host of race need to also have the option of "same as host" and option to limit cars by class\speed. slow, medium, fast, super fast

OK, I agree that a supercar in a retro race doesn't seem right. Nevertheless, I think at least some races should be open for every car (and in that case, AI should pick cars with similar top speed and acceleration as the player's car). I don't know whether or not you guys played NFS Hot Pursuit 2010, but in that game, when I wanted to drive a specific car, I had to dig through dozens of races to find one that allows me to use that car. Same goes for Test Drive Unlimited and many other open world games.

A race editor would be a nice option as well.

from what ive heard they want you to mainly be driving one car so the car you pick virtually should be good for any race they want it to feel like your car in your driveway make the car personal to you

Compromise would be to remove race restrictions after you clock the game (i.e. complete all races) - the opponents adjust to match your choice. Doesn't matter if things become easier or harder since you've already completed it before.

In TDU1 we used to have a competition to see who could win the 'round the island' challenge in the slowest car possible. I remember getting as far down as the Group D Audi RS4.
