I just would rather call it XBone than XboxOne
    no derogatory intention behind it

I don't read it that way, but when I hear it, I keep thinking people are referring to the first Xbox.

Someone needs to get an X-Bone and place a skull on top, so they can have a Skull and X-Bone. Then balance a boxed copy of Rocksmith 2014 on top of the skull. Ta-da, Rocksmith 2014 on your X-Bone.

Far as I'm concerned Rocksmith can just keep on with the Xbox and PS3, I've got the Xbox in my bedroom now with my guitar amp, it's an unofficial Rocksmith console.

I'm pretty sure the xbox one doesn't have an analog output for sound, so how would they compensate for the audio lag? Seems like if/when they do make a game for a next gen console this could be a real problem.

Does anyone use an optical out? Does that have a delay with it?

Optical is still digital so there would be lag. It all depends on your components. Some people say they use HDMI and have no lag.

I guess a lot of it depends on the TV you have if you are using HDMI.

My TV has no measurable latency if I connect headphones directly to its jack. My sound card, on the other hand, is horrible. Easily 200ms or more unless I run a program that forces ASIO, which then blocks all sound from anything else I have running, making it useless for using Rocksmith as my amp and playing along with Pandora stations. Yeah, I could replace the sound card, but I'd rather pick up a 2x15 cabinet and head and start auditioning for local bands.
