In this interview, he talks about a lot, from quests, pvp, pve, zones, city hub...etc, watch the interview here:

After watching this interview, we all have new questions to be asked. What are some of the questions you thinking of now? haha. Also, post your questions on the fansite's forum as well![]()
Rev3 and IGN had a couple of good info-filled walkthroughs. I have been using what I learned there to drop some info all over a few forums who are very interested in the game. I could also tell just from what was said what server system they will go for and its definitely cloud-ish (single meta-world, no shards) with heavy match-making layers that put people into 'instances' for lack of a better word. All seamless which is a bit of a marvel but has been in the works for several games for years.
Its clear thats it priority RPG and not a 3rd person shooter. More Mass Effect than Gears of War. So abilities and levels will affect stuff like aiming and DPS. That may not sit well with some but its music to my ears.
In your back pack, what is the item limit? Will food and water rations take away from ammunition supply in your storage? Will there be a bank of some type where you can store additional items or hide items or will you create a mule of some sort? What penalties incur upon death and how is respawning portrayed? Is there any type of mount system as in vehicles or subway tram? or is walking the only means of exploration? Are there any plans on creating other cities besides New York? I have a million more avid questions but I'll give you a chance to answer these first thank you.
From what I have read and heard on interviews I think it means that if you were to stand in the same spot and had no danger of being attacked/infected then you would have enough food and water to survive for 72hrs MAX. So I am expecting some form of hunger and thirst indicators, although I see no sign of these in the game play video. Maybe your character will start to move sluggishly or he won't be able to run as long or as fast, subtle indicators would be nice instead of bars.Originally Posted by tvant Go to original post
They've also said several times that they still have 1½ years left of development so it's the latter. Sadly..Originally Posted by Stefan2892 Go to original post
Can't remember which interview it was, but one of the devs said that Food and Water were only "Buff" items. Now personally I hope that I heard that wrong during the interview but I'll try to dig it up again. I'd actually like to see some sort of survival mechanic as well. Normally I hate them, but in this situation I'd love to see what the Devs can come up with.Originally Posted by Bor3d_Stiff Go to original post
