I really hope the whole world is PVP or at least PVP servers so it resembles DayZ, it would make it 100x more fun, at least IMO.

Edit: I just watched that video and I think I understand the PVP a little better. The developer said that PVP occurs in Dark Zones. At the beginning of the demo, when the soldier opens his map it shows his location and he is in a dark zone. So I guess parts of the map have PVP and other don't. I like this idea. It is a risk to enter those zones but maybe they have higher quality loot items. Thoughts guys......

The map showed events occurring in both the safe zone and the dark zone but I'd have to assume that there would be better rewards in the dark zone to make up for the increased risk

Something I picked up on from the HUD, at the construction site "The Tunnel" the HUD displayed that it was a group event and had a difficulty rating of "3".

Another detail that may be relevant: Bronson is wearing a gas mask. Best seen while the characters pick up water in the police station.

Also worth noting, on that subject, It looks like Nick also has a gas mask on his backpack, but he's not wearing it. Might hint at how much our character's inventory(items/gear/whatever) affect their cosmetic appearance...

Confirmed weapons from the gameplay demo:

SMG: Kriss Vector used by Nick
Sniper Rifles: Unknown type used by Megan (Assume it's a sniper due to small magazine, huge scope, no pistol grip)
Pistols: Unknown type used by NPCs outside police station
Shotgun: Unknown pump action shotgun used by Bronson
Assault Rifles: Mk17 SR (SCAR-H) picked up by Nick in the police station
Grenades: Molotov cocktail thrown by NPCs

Also 4 mod types were revealed:
Suppressor: Nick's Kriss Vector had one
Scope: Megan's sniper rifle had one and the Assault Rifle picked up by Nick had a line from Mods to the top rail
Magazine: shown on the Assault Rifle Nick picked up
Stock: shown on the Assault Rifle Nick picked up

Game uses real street names in New York. At the very start of the gameplay demo as Nick enters the intersection it shows the cross streets in red both marked dark zone. The intersection is Water Street and Washington Street. The second intersection is Water Street and Main Street which is actually one block down from the previous intersection. (The location where the police station actually is appears to be an abandoned brick 4 story building.)

Wanted Posters: When scanning the map, on the lower left hand side is a wanted poster for "Oskar" that gets downloaded along with information on Evacuation points Alpha and Bravo, plus the CDC Quarantine zone.

4 Statuses: At the end of the video as it goes out to the black map it shows 4 different statuses. The Police station they were just in is marked Secured, another location is critical, a third is failing, and two of the bridges are marked blackout. The game map at the start also shows "Failing" and "Critical" at the start of the demo and the police station is marked as "Secured" when Megan frees the last of the police, so blackout may show on the game map aswell.
