    MMO or Not?

Simple question.. your wording at the end of the game is "online, open-world and RPG" however it can be all three of those without being an MMO. The feel of the game does imply MMO however and everyone seems to think it will be one.. but I can't help but wonder why you worded it so strangely. So, is this game an MMO shooter like planetside, or a larger than average server with an open world shooter like Arma? I will be immensely saddened if it turns out this game will have 50-100 player servers.

    (Also, PC)

Well, hopefully its not too many people on a single server / playing session since the world is a apocalyptic-ish world. You wouldn't want 300 gun wielding players rushing around a apocalyptic world since it would ruin the feeling of it, and ruin the whole scavenging since everyone will have already taken all the supplies and good weapons. I would like a small amount, but not too small so that it feels empty.

It's not post-apocalyptic, it's simply 3 weeks after a weaponized flu infected a city.. one city, as far as we know. There are billions of people still. Though I would certainly agree that I don't want thousands of players on every block but a 60 person server would be a real let down, but I guess the sweet spot is determined by the size of the world.

yes i would also like it not to be that big because then it would mostly likely end up being like warz and dayz which are shoot first and ask later and then there would not be so much interaction between players aside from shooting each other but again if you put various servers that could potential bring other problems so i don't know

I'm pretty sure they'll let us know how the whole online aspect will work. It could be straight Co-Op like the TD website says or a complete open world MMO like any other MMO Shooter. I'm hoping it doesn't end up like WarZ or DayZ...Oh God, the thoughts.

    yea that's my main concern

i really want it to be open world just not like dayz and warz were there is not real organisation and is pretty much deathmatch

I would make sure you add your question about the actual size of the world/amount of players here:
    http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...ComDev-Q-amp-A

It is specifically Online. An online RPG with a persistent and dynamic open world.

This would open up the possibility for expansions down the road if the game takes off. They could add different cities as expansions.
