That problem has been around since the game was released almost a year ago. Ubisoft refuse to acknowledge it as an issue with the game, instead they blame individual users and do not accept that every pc player has this issue.Originally Posted by Alpha_One1964 Go to original post
The connection lost problem will never be fixed.
Hello, you will see if you look here at the forum, that this issue was point out by diferent users, including me, to many times, its the most game-breaking issue to the ones who play multiplayer and probly the reason that the player base coming short this past months, but unfortunatly, Ubi_Antoine and the Dev team disagreed, and no effort was made to change that, so it will be dificult if not impossible they fix something they dont even admit is broken.Originally Posted by Alpha_One1964 Go to original post
If that is true about Antoine, then he is being completely ignorant and obviously has never tried playing this game online.Originally Posted by RAPT0R0 Go to original post
I have doubts they really test the patches, but if they did, its in close enviorement, and in that, GRFS have no connection issue what so ever, me and 2 friends tried that in a closed network on 3 diferent computers with 3 diferent accounts and using 3 mobile connection from diferent ISP, but the moment one of them leaved that enviorement, and connect to the rest from outside (especifically in his home), all other users begin to get disconnects very often.Originally Posted by apw2 Go to original post
If they tested all possabilitys before release, this was easly spoted by a average developer when using Peer to Peer system, and even in the windows OS there is a brief description for what could occur when using P2P in wide open networks, just to say that me and my friends are not smarter than anyone, we just looked for answers.
Ok now im facing another issue with the game, today i tried to accept 2 invites this afternoon and it failed to connect, ok i tought maybe the lobby was full or anything, but when at night tried to play some coop with friends and i was unable to connect to them and them to me, i see that something going on with my game, before i start to make changes, i want to ask something.
Is someone else having problems when connecting to friends?
Thanks & regards
Hi Raptor, this is yet again another problem that has existed for the last 2 patches that hasn't been fixed or even looked at. TAW often had this problem.Originally Posted by RAPT0R0 Go to original post
I honestly don't believe a single patch has been tested, otherwise that person/people that tested them fully deserve to be fired for doing the most pathetic patching job i have ever seen.
Hello everybody. I'm new to this forum and I was wondering if anyone could help. I'm having problems with Ghost Recon:FS (who isn't?). I have an MSI GE70 with GT650M 2GB, i7 3630QM processor and 8 GB RAM on 64bit win8 single language edition. Up until a week ago (right before the release of patch 1.8) I had no problems with the game except for the bright graphics that I was sort of OK with. But after installing 1.8, the game has literally turned into a 10FPS slideshow. Multiplayer has especially become unplayable because I can't move my mouse fast enough to aim. I've tried everything I can think of(set the exe files to run in compatibility mode with win7, turned graphics detail down all the way, switched to DX9, even dropped resolution to 800x600) but to no avail. The funny thing is, I have an old desktop that's got a GTX260 with 4 GB RAM with win7 Pro 64bit and the game runs nearly flawlessly on that one. None of the people I have on my friends list has told me that they encountered such a problem. And no, there is nothing wrong with my GPU or CPU as other games run just fine even on Full HD resolution(And I purchased this laptop 2 months ago). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I had also that issue, my fps drops to about 15 fps. I removed and reinstalled graphics drivers to the newest beta version, disabled everything in GRFS profile in NVidia Control Panel and everything runs well again. Try maybe this helps youOriginally Posted by r3gr3ssor Go to original post![]()
Thanks for the quick reply. I tried the profile trick and at least I have a decent framerate at 800x600 with everything off. Who still uses XP at this day and age? They completely ruined a good game for a 12 year old (old enough to go to middle school XD) Operating System. I mean, even Microsoft said they're officially cutting off updates and support next year for XP. Guess we're just gonna have to wait for ubisoft to catch up with the times and release a win8 fix patch.
Regressor, first I want you to understand that laptop gpu's aren't officially supported by any game really. But that doesnt mean they wont work. What you should probably do is uninstall GRFS. I'm on windows 8 64 bit and after patch 1.8, the uninstall and reinstall helped out a ton. Also make sure you copy the file in you documents associated with the game and place that on yiour desktop just for back up purposes in case Uplay's cloud save system doesnt play its part. And install the latest nvidia drivers as well. Good Luck.Originally Posted by r3gr3ssor Go to original post
