    [QUOTE=Whiskey-Oscar;9074902]Several issues still present;
    Weapons in Gunsmith still not unlocked (Skorpion, Gsh, Kard, etc.) and unable to be unlocked by meeting their criteria - has always been an issue and needs to be sorted.
    Guerilla mode no longer loads, just gets stuck in an endless loading screen.
    Attempting to launch an SP mission causes a hard hang roughly a third of the time, does not appear to be tied to a single mission.

    I finally had all the weapons, attachments and ammo and suddenly the Saiga 12, Skorpion, GsH-18 and Kard are locked again. The funny part is that they are locked with all the changes I already made on the guns. I posted some screens on Steam of the "locked again" weapons. What kind of patch/update is this????!!!

    Well, ive not even bothered downloading this patch after reading these reviews. Whats the point? Ubisoft have wasted almost a year of my life (and many others) with false promises.

    Yet again Ubisoft has not bothered to test ANYTHING otherwise the main issues reported would have been looked at and fixed and new bugs would not be appearing. This company is a joke and a shambles.

    Mods, you need to raise a proper complaint with ubisoft management because this is utterly pathetic. This customer support is on par with Dell, who are also a joke. Never again will i even consider buying a ubisoft game. Crap service like this is a great way to support other gaming companies who know how to actually make a proper patch and test it!

    Normally i would sell an old game, but i wouldn't wish this waste of space on anybody, so my discs are being snapped in half and thrown in the bin, where the entire game belongs.

    well, I just tried the game with the new patch, however the performance is still poor despite patch 1.8, I am barely getting ~ 30 FPS.

    When I got the game and my 680, I played it for a while and it was very smooth, felt like about 40 - 50 FPS (maxed) with patch 1.6, however ever since patch 1.7 got installed (Steam) my FPS took a heavy hit (around ~30 FPS) with the same settings, now Patch 1.8 was supposed to fix this, however nothing has changed, performance is the same as with 1.7 and yes, I did disable the new reflections feature (barely impacts my FPS anyway?!).

    While 30 FPS is fine for me (most of my games run 30 FPS), it still bugs me why my FPS were so much higher with patch 1.6 than with the newer ones?

    The retail game patched to v1.8 but started crashing with a Fatal Error until I deleted the Default.cfg file from the game's save folder. However, as soon as I started changing the graphics settings to their maxed out 1920x1200 values, including AA and Tessellation, it would crash with a Fatal Error again. I've managed to isolate it to one specific setting: Ambient Occlusion. I can set everything else and they'll save but as soon as I try to set Ambient Occlusion the game crashes to the desktop. I've no idea whether it's an issue with this patch or the v320.14 beta drivers I'm currently using. The game seems to play fine without AO but I'm annoyed that I cannot use it as it does make the visuals look a little drab without it.

    Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum and I have a couple of questions (or rather, complaints) about the new patch. The new patch has absolutely ruined future soldier for me. I'm running the game on an MSI GE70 with GT650M 2GB graphics card on windows 8 64bit single language edition. Before the patch, there was no performance problem whatsoever even on native resolution (1920x1080). But after the patch, the game has turned into a 10 FPS slideshow. multiplayer is almost completely unplayable. I turned everything down, switched to dx9, even dropped resolution to the lowest possible with no luck. I mean, I bought this laptop only 2 months ago and any other game runs like a dream. On another note, the game has begun crashing with an error message saying "device is removed" that's never happened prior to patching..Any help would be appreciated.

    Seriously, what is up with patch 1.8? Got the game through Steam and was set to autoupdate.
    Now the game stutters and reacts very slowly - and there's apparently NO way to start it in DX11 mode? If I start the DX11 found in the steamapps folder for this game, and then click "Start" in Ubiplay, the game starts to download 13400 MB? As if it wants to download and install the game AGAIN, but now only (hopefully???) in DX11 mode? Seriously, Ubisoft. What on earth are you doing to your customers?

    Even with the recent patch 1.8, the game constantly crashes on Subtle Arrow (second mission), essentially leaving me with a pricey, one-mission demo that costed $30 :/ I hope whoever was in charge of GRFS PC version is not in the Splinter Cell Blacklist team.. This is beyond pathetic
