Thanks for the info, what I was able to find out when installing retail, you have to install or try , in the correct order or you will face issues, yesterday i found that besides the patches are build to install in the correct order, also the dlc are build the same way, for instance, I only was able to install artic strike after 1.04(if installed before, multi wont launch or the installer wouldnt run), if I installed Khyber and them Artic, i was unable to launch multiplayer, if installed khyber before 1.06, the game crashed, so my tought about this, this was build to receive all installation in the correct order(more or less), and think most people that are facing issues about corruption, is the ones who uninstalled the game and then reinstalled, but doing things like, first all patches and then DLC.Originally Posted by fantomaxis Go to original post
The problem is some of the patches make changes to receive the dlc, and other correct this changes, and in the end you have diferent file size that mess with the game, especially the ones who play mp.
Obs. all connection here made with games of the same version in a close network, not public bc of the version.
Hi Fantom, I installed the patches until 1.04, then i installed the Artic Strike, updated to 1.05 and 1.06 then Khyber, my last up here 1.07 & 1.08, launched the game yesterday in pub matches and no issue with the dlc and all weapons available, i know that now it may be too much trouble for you to install all over again, but next time you have to do it, install in this order and you shouldnt encounter any issue, unless there is related with something else in your system(even that you dont play the maps, at least you can use all the weapons you have).Originally Posted by fantomaxis Go to original post
Hey guys it's me again. I got another problem. I bought the Arctic Strike DLC from ubishop and downloaded the 350 MB file that uplay directs me to download, but when I try to install I get an error message halfway through that reads: “CRC Error: The file C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier\DLC\dlc1\dlc1.big doesn’t match the file in the setup’s .cab file. The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted; contact your software vendor.” I uninstalled and reinstalled the game (that takes away about 2 hours of my life), re downloaded the DLC file but again the same error message. I contacted ubi support only to get a lame generic answer telling me to try installing in safe-mode. The game runs fine and I have little to no problems playing online or off but this is just frustrating. Can anyone help? Thank you in advance.
