    Excited about Your Shape!

    Hello,

I am a new user for the Wii U Your Shape 2013 edition. Since the previous thread about Wii U Shapers seems to be a bit derailed by technical problems, I was curious as to any other Wii U users, as well as any tips and hits that you would like to share to enhance the Shape experience.

I am relatively new to the Gaming+Exercise initiative, and I have to say, I LOVE this game! Though I occasionally exercise hard, I still consider myself a bit of a potato in fitness level, and I was wondering if anyone else had figured out a particular combo that seems to be winning for them. I have burned about 280 so far according to the burn calculator, but I would like more!

Thanks for any comments and a preemptive welcome to other new Wii U Shape users!

    Hi,

I'm new to Your Shape and the Wii-u, but not new to Exercise Video Games, in fact that's the only games I have.

Based on my limited experiences with games, this Your Shape 2013 and EASA2.0 aer some of the best games ever put out. I also life Get Fit with Mel B (spice girl) with is very good, but this itteration of Your Shape and EASA2.0 is the best I've experienced.

I'm a diabetic, type II, and the avoe mentioned three games got me off of four diabetic meds a day, down to one.

All the best and answer back and you can friend me if you want.

Hi, I also use it and I am just starting. I got sore from the first workout! I have only burnt in the 200s so far too.

It is excellent to see new faces in this forum. Welcome Becksvee and Amarangel! Great job to you on your workouts. Like NTP, I have been using EA Sports Active 2 and now also YSFE 2013. Love both exergames alot! I have been able to shed 52 lbs since my start in April 2011. Now I am training for a half marathon in October. I started running last year and so far it has been going well.

On the YSFE front... I am currently in the process of compiling a spreadsheet which list all of the various 'Activities' 'Classes' and 'Workouts'. My hope is that it will make it easier for us to look at and choose what workouts we like to do for any particular workout session. There is a link to my shared google docs spreadsheet in these forums. Let me know if you need help searching for it. So far I have 'Activities' and almost 4/7 ths of the 'Classes' area complete.

Good luck to everyone on your workouts.
