I'm only posting this so that the devs may see all the threads and get the picture.
Let me open by saying that Blood Dragon is one of the most unique experiences I've had in a while, and I absolutely love it.
Why, then, do you not want me to play it? Why do you make it so that a feature that was already added to the main game months ago, that added dozens of hours to people's playtimes, is absent from the spin off? Blood Dragon has the potential to be endless fun, yet you restrict us to a mere few hours.
I'm aware that maybe the game was finalized before that patch came out, and maybe they wanted to add it after release, but I doubt it, as they would have told us garrison reset would be coming in a future patch. It just seems like gross oversight and downright amateurish for a developer that so clearly has a talent and intelligence when it comes to making games. Please, Ubi. I want to continue enjoying your marvelous game, not think about how much fun it was and then go "Oh, well, what else do I have in my library?"
The few pockets of enemies that barely fight back don't count, and I'm not losing all the upgrades I earned by starting a new game. I really don't get the point of giving people toys that they can only use for maybe an hour. Reminds me of Bioshock 2.
Based on that response on Twitter, I'm confident it's being worked on. The lack of a "home base" is probably giving them issues. Though I don't see why you couldn't just spawn in at some predetermined point, near where the tutorial ends. Not having access to a shop/fast travel until clearing your first Garrison doesn't seem to me to be a deal-breaker.
I mean really, it's a simple decision. Do you want your game to be an A+? Or a B+?
Lack of a homebase though. They could easily have so that the very first Garrison you take over, like after where the tutorial ends, as the homebase and just reset all the rest of them.Originally Posted by sno0ks Go to original post
I've forwarded the request to the team. Please post in existing threads about a subject instead of creating a new one. It's easier for the Forum Managers to report information to the team when it's in one place. Multiple threads clutter the forum and can bury other important threads that could be about a pressing issue.
Please post in this thread from now on: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...on-Reset-Patch
Thanks.
