Thinking about buying this game, few questions.

Hi Ive been playing FarCry3, and Ghost Recon Online, and came across this game while brousing Ubi.

It looks interesting, as it has CO OP, mode and a Multiplayer mode as well as a Stand alone.

How does it play, is it smooth?

As for the CO OP and Muliplayer, can one usually find a Match/Players, in other words, whats the population like?

Lastly, what are your impressions of the game?

    Thanks

Sometimes it can be good, but lately a lot of problems have surfaced. i suggest you browse this forum and you will get a full picture of those problems.

Now a caveat, this is my personal point of view.

The campaign is great, fun even

Co Op is quite good too

Multi Player well that is a bit if a mish mash, it's a bout a 50/50 chance that you land with people whom all uses mike, speaks english, goes for the targets, doesn't hack/cheat.
And sadly the DLC's are sparsely populated

My Impressions, well it was awesome, fun, adrenalin pumping, whooping for joy.
Now it's unstable and i feel real lucky if i land in a match and can play it thru..

Had i come across this game now, i would have saved my money..

Talkin about the MP side of it: I like it, it's great fun... when it works, which makes it soooo frustrating when it you have the dreaded "connection to server lost" that everyone here knows too well.
However when you finally found some good friends/teammates to play with/against, it's an absolute pleasure.

Except when you play opponents with reaction time and acuracy from outer space (won't say the H word though) and that's a bit sad, but you'll quickly learn how to avoid those "superhumans"

Don't buy it, if you want to play online, to many errors

Buy Far cry 3.... I can't even play this game since upgrading to windows 8... between it going to a different monitor and the famous "yeti" error. I've just about had it with this specific franchise.

I've got Win8 and it works fine, YETI error not very often (had maybe 3 over a period of 3 weeks). We still manage to have decent games, and not too many errors. My glass may be half full after all

DON'T BUY! On-line doesn't work! and I have lost my campaign saves more then one time , you will regret spending your money on an unfinished product and a lame port. your welcome

It's going cheap on Gamersgate. Only £3 for standard version and £5 for deluxe. The campaign is good so you can't complain at that price. The season pass DLC is £7 which I've just bought.

I still consider very worth buying despite all the issues after 1.7 patch. I have Uplay version and not steam. On my end since 1.7 patch the game is great is running more smoothly than it was. But still my there are occasions on Multiplayer you will get "Connection from server lost" and rare cases of yeti error. Graphics is not at its best you thought it should be but just okay...
Though I said its great and worth it but when you face that issues I mentioned at the very moment you were so having fun with your game, all you can think of again is your frustration and disappointment about it. Still, it's my one of my favorite game despite all that and I am keeping all my hopes on this for 1.8 and more coming patches....
