First question on the nav map when surfaced what does the circle indicate when you click on a vessel?

Second question during the Sub School Convoy mission how do you avoid the escort?

I spent ages working my way up to where the convoy was likely going to be, simply by following the trajectory marked on the nav map, submerged about 140ft, at 1/3ahead, running silent yet the damn escort still kept picking me up despite my stopping and holding steady for a bit. I've got the gameplay set to "low" so all the aids are on but it's still quite frustrating. It may be that I don't have the patience for this game given how long I spent on just this one mission.

First, before your questions can be answered, I need to know what version of SH 4 you're currently using. Second, are you using any mods? It does make a difference in the kind of answers I can give you.
