Pardon me if this has been asked before, but is there any sort of logical reason as to why every event relic must reside on top of a cartridge box? Also, if there is an ac3 event relic that exists without a cartridge box, I'm not currently aware of it and can't find information on it. I guess cartridge boxes are really appealing, and I love them as much as your next cartridge box fan, but my collection is getting to be overwhelming. I'm not hypocritical and I know I've stated that obvious bugs should be fixed before minor tweaks, but these seem to be a design feature and are implemented in increments. Proactively, could it be possible for us to have a relic that stands alone? Like the legendary abstergo metal, or the wolfpack leader metal, etc. Maybe the community likes cartridge boxes more than I believed, and if this is a minority opinion, naturally, feel free to disregard.
First off, nobody likes the cartridge boxes. Lets make that clear. So, you are not in the minority here.Originally Posted by merskee Go to original post
I just think the Ubisoft team that is responsible of organizing the event (and designing the relic) just lacks motivation, as naturally so, because they do not generate any profit not matter how many events they host or how many new relics they design. From the devs' perspective, it's better to put their resource into something that actually generate profit e.g. the next sequel like AC4 or AC5, DLCs, etc.
But, I can relate to you. I do hate the cartridge boxes with a passion.I never like them one bit but I collect them anyways because they are time exclusive items.
