another delay for PC players? | Forums

so on amazon release date of console versions is 29 october but for PC and PS4 it's 31 december.in AC3 1 month gap was okay but now gap between console and PC is HUGE.how ubisoft gonna make good relationship with PC players with this huge delays?

1. Amazon always states the worst case scenario in terms of product releases. It's better if the costumer preorders their product and get it earlier than expected than getting it later.
2. A huge delay for you, but for Ubisoft (hopefully) and many other PC players a chance for good porting from the consoles. The more time they spend working on the PC version of the game, the better for us. We do not want them finishing the preparation for the console versions early October and then have only 2 weeks to port it over to the PC. Let them take their time, so that we can avoid any other porting disasters like AC3.

Since PS4 is basically another PC,I don't think optimization would be a problem.They just want the PC players experience thrashed with the spoilers on the net..ACIII ending was spoiled because of a simple trailer.And about the good relationship with PC players is basically nothing but a whole lie.And why is the release date end of 2013 o.O?Either this is Ubisoft being bad towards PC or they are way too mysterious.

Any dates / prices seen should be treated as 'best guess' by the retailer and the only official release dates are those given by Ubisoft, who are yet to announce them.

I don't mind any delay as long as they are upfront and honest about it. Unlike the previous games

Same **** from ubisoft. They promise and promise. They promised to be more "friendly" with pc players.. Nothing they done to proove it so far.

As far as I know, when Amazon tags something for December 21st that pretty much means TBA, also a delay is understandable as the PC version will have graphics of those compared to the PS4 version so they probably want to release those 2 at the same time.
