I've been having some fun battles with the ai on master difficulty with no sights on the screen (center dot or cross-hairs) and everything off in the game options.
You just need to find *better* cover.. Like deeper, or further away, or move silently to it, and don't move a lot when you get there. I think they can see bushes moving now.. I can see them moving brush around when I cannot see them, and get a good idea where they are.
I've even gotten killed by the friendlies a couple times when accidentally shooting one while we were all shooting dogs, then all of the sudden there were two technical truck blasting at me from different directions. Crazy stuff. Two or three shots and you are dead.
Yes, those friends can turn pretty aggressive and from green to red..
I was assaulted by islanders twice so far - once overrun by a friendly car (just like that when leaving the car) and once friend's car got 1 bullet hit, from my gun, for rude driving. To relax his anger I had to take him down.
However, I play Survivor and not Master and my health decay after hits would be appropriate for Master but NOT at a lower difficulty level.
This is a game, remember, not mortal combat academy!![]()
Master mode is still to easy, for me anyways. Ai is still too dumb, you take out the hostiles and drag them back and they never miss them, that includes knifing them up top and dragging them down behind cover. They never seem to mind the compounds slowly empty out, does the AI think their friends simply wandered off into the jungle?
