You must have played on the Xbox, becasue GRAW2 on PS3 was horrible, they never released a single patch, and there was never a single DLC released for it.

It pains me to think that the "mature" "hardcore" "GR vets" have such an immature view on things.

No wonder nobody GAF about us...
I was really mad when i made this thread. It was more venting then anything else. Have you tried looking for a game that doesn't feel like a different version of COD; it's really hard. The way I look at it is COD is the McDonalds of the gaming industry. It's a easy to make game with no depth that anyone can play and get some cheap entertainment. Just like Mcdonalds fast, easy, and good. Mcdonalds sales the same cheap stuff and makes alot of money doing it. COD just makes the same simple game and throws in some fun guns and gadgets and tell everyone to go wild. Arma(and games like it) is like a 5 star restraunt. A place where food is their passion and the food is full of richness and flavor that's not for everyone. Yes the food is harder to make and it takes full dedication, but your food is one of a kind and you can not get that any where. Arma serves you a playing experience like non other. The length of time and did cation they must put in making a game like that must be astounding and you can til as soon as you just walk around in the game. GR is like Red Lobster. A little less depth then something like Arma, but it was still quality. So should I be mad it call of duty maybe. It is obvious that quality is not their concern. It is just strange to see games that offer more then simple gameplay try to be like COD. It's like watching Red Lobster trying to be like Mcdonalds.

Also activision has tried new stuff over the years. Remember in mw2 they made a 3rd person mode. They also release there games with like 10 or more game modes. Hardcore and core game modes.

Yeah I did, but once MS raised the cost of live while bombarding Golds with ads, while making everything slower to get to by burying it under multiple screens, in the name of adding a smart phone interface in an attempt to push their cruddy Kinect (that didn't even work good when I tried it at a friends house). I told them to do horrible things to their own backsides and got a PS3. I have been very happy with the PSN ever since. It's even more stable for me than live was with it's constant high volume bandwidth requirements to stream all those ads. Screw MS, they made their service worse, dropped making relevent exclusives (they felt the need to give ms points to get people to play Halo 4 true stuff, pathetic right? You don't need to pay people to play your game if it's good you know.)
Sorry to hear Ubi dropped the ball for PS3, of course they did the same thing with Vegas 2 and the noise glitch during MP too, didn't they.

I would be more mad at ubi putting out garbage piles like this game and not cod. For what it is cod works well and from a production stand point is everything this game will never be. The main thing is you will always be able to get a mp game in cod years after it comes out even. This game was dead off the shelf.

The fact that the price dropped so fast is a testament to fan reception. If Ubi hasn't gotten the message after that, who knows. I'm absolutely scared about the new Rainbow title. Just like every other Clancy title, just as it looked to be coming together nicely, Ubi changed up the leads and development news became scarce. Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon come to mind. I got a feeling Ubi is gonna put out yet another steamer, cause Rainbow's had the best run out of all the Clancy titles, and Ubi can't be having that, now can they..............
