Yeah thanks. What will this be for? Please a fix for the steak and loss glitch? Or is it just general server work?

Could we have a discussion on the loss streak thing at least? I've only had it happen to me once and it was incredibly frustrating, I can only imagine what those who see this regularly (like assassinate players, apparently) are feeling. A little explanation or a conversation beyond the typical corporate speak of "we are working on it, we hope to have it done soon" would go a long way towards relaxing a community that, judging by the forums anyway, is pretty unhappy with the state of the game right now.

I agree, U would think wit this being such a Major Issue for everyone(XBOX-PS3-PC) they would be a little more active/vocal instead of the basic "were working on it" If u ask me it seems they completly ignored the issue nor did they address until it turned into sometging much larger than it should've been

We don't typically discuss this type of problems, if only not to make them even more well-known by potential exploiters. By now, a lot of people know about this but it isn't something we wish to go into further details about. We put a temp fix into place but it's not fixing all the instances in which it happens. A permanent fix is currently in the works and will hopefully be released in an upcoming patch, but this isn't anything we haven't said yet.

Yes, this was just general server work. We'll make sure to give more precision about the glitch fix whenever we're able to release it.

Well...that's all we're looking for in the end I guess. A direct response to one of us outlining exactly where you stand that isn't full of corporate jargon.

If there is one thing I'd like more info on, if possible, is what you guys intend to do about those who are caught using the exploit? Personally, I'd like to see them banned from XBL or PSN or whatever they play on because there's no excuse for cheating. I think those of us who are playing by the rules would like to know that some punishment IS coming for the offending players and that our filed complaints and recorded proof videos are being acknowledged. It will also be nice if any cheaters we have on the forums actually see that there actually COULD be some punishment for their actions.

Just...hoping to see some justice, is all. Nobody wants to play a game that's overrun by cheaters...

Dont u think a permanent ban is a too harsh. I mean its not liked they hacked the game is order to do this, this was a bug already there an now this fly refuses to be swatted. Not to mention bout a fourth of the AC community uses this glitch, an the tutorial vids didnt help much either

Hello all,

No this maintenance was just to maintain service. We don't have the permanent fix ready for the loss streak problem yet, but we hope to be patching the game with a fix soon.

Also, this maintenance is now over (actually, it's been over for hours but it had little impact in-game at all).

And here I thought some stuff would be fixed.
I guess I'll just wait until the next DLC comes out which usually brings up the new patches with them and hopefully the fixes to a lot of multiplayer problems.

Sadly - this is what the glitchers say in response to treating others like ****. "You can do it in the game, i'm going to do it in the game. I don't care, omg look at my score and you suck".

That's about it. Wouldn't even give them the time of day really.

I don't think a permanent ban is too harsh, actually. I agree that it's not like they hacked the game and made it so they could fly or walk through walls but you have to go out of your way to operate this exploit so it's not like this just happens accidentally to these players. My opinion has ALWAYS been you cheat, you're gone. No excuses, no mercy, if you go out of your way to intentionally cheat and ruin the community and ruin the fun for other players in a way that is a violation of the rules of the game...sorry, you're gone.

Also there's no way a fourth of the community uses the glitch. I hear it's running rampant in assassinate, but until last night I had actually never seen anybody using it. It's not as pronounced as people lead other to believe...but even a little is too much.
