Game is BORING when you must repeat a scene 60 times!

Is it just me or, are others finding that some challenges in FC 3 are WAY too hard, if not almost impossible? I must have repeated Jason's getting to the hellicopter scene about 60 times! It becomes boreing, after innumerable attempts! Now, I've just drunk the magic potion, I must now enter the temple, slay the monster and kill all the almost invisible enenies. I've done this about 30 times. Boring! I even tried to find "savegames" on the net thar would skip over these tedious crap episodes. To NO avail! I'm about ready to wipe FC 3 from my computer. I've got 3 or 4 new games I'd like to play and ENJOY!

To make the big ink monster easier
    - Quit out of the quest
    - Make the super healing potions and use one right away
    - Always be moving before each fire (whatever) breath
    - Possibly use the seeing potion against the invis enemies, though I found after a few tries I didn't need to
Yes it would be great if you didn't have to wait through such a big setup for the ink monster battle. Bad design there.

The helicopter I hear is very difficult on the easy setting, but easier on the harder setting. Something about your helicopter being as soft as the enemy ones. Anyway, just shoot the rooftops, barrels and vehicles and have the shooting skill.

That's weird I got through the entire mission in two runs. I did die once flying over the airport. Pretty much the same with the monsterdude. Just keep running from one side to the other and keep watching the guy so you can track the projectiles. Potions shouldn't even be necessary, didn't use those at all in any of the missions.

Run side to side as the monster spews ink like MR said. When the creatures come after you, don't use arrows (or switch to regular arrows). Personally, I just knifed them before they knifed me. The challenge is what makes FC3 a game instead of a movie. If you don't want the challenge, switch to a lower difficulty.

Yes, the ink monster is a pain but fighting the enemies in the pitch black is worse - there are more bad missions waiting for you .. keep faith, soldier! The game's AI seems to adjust a little when you die too many times in the same mission hence helping you to get through it.
