While I appreciate that Oleg may not have been able to devote cost-effective time and resources to correct this minor modelling error in FB/AEP I was wondering if it could be done for PF?
After all, the P-40 is a bit more of an important player in this theatre. It'd be nice to get that dihedral angle fixed.
Also, any chance of a P-40N? The stripped down 4 gun version? Pretty please?

    Maybe in a patch.

N had 6 guns and the sloped rear cockpit. You're thinking of the D which had 2 .50s in each wing.

Actually the P-40N did come from the factory with four 50 caliber machine guns. The other two machine gun bays were retained, but were empty. This, along with other changes, lightened the aircraft and improved performance.

In the field, the four 50's were found to be so inaccurate and the dispersion was such that they did add the two missing 50's.

What's wrong with the dihedral in the FB P-40? Maybe I haven't noticed, but to my recollection the P-40 had a pretty pronounced dihedral that seems to be reflected in FB. Had it changed?

its far too big in FB, I'd really like it changed as well...

The current dihedral on the FB P-40 is quite noticeably overcooked. Compare any of the FB P-40's with the (correct dihedral) FB Hawk-75's (P-36). Dihedral angle should be the same.

IIRC the in-service 4 gun 'N' was either fitted with the extra 2 guns as mentioned above or had other components (armour etc) removed to increase performance. I was hoping for one of these stripped-down higher performing machines. After all 4x .50 cals is plenty when one is dealing with Jap planes.

In any case my real wish is for the dihedral to be fixed up. Here's hoping.

I've heard Radek claims the problem isn't the dihedral but the fact that the wing root is too thin, which creates the illusion that dihedral is too much. Nonetheless, the P-40 does look wrong while the P-36 (same airframe basically) is fine.

As I recall the dihedral is off by 3 degrees, and, Oleg says it will not be fixed because it would require a completely new 3D model.
