I want to cointue making maps also but I would also like to play them with my friends and random players too. I love far cry ever since instincts because of that. But right now the developers like to think they know what's best for us. What ever happened to the customers always right? They tell us we wouldn't like vhecials in MP so they make it so we can't use them. They tell us we wouldn't like a custom map search cuz it would ruin legit online play (they want it to be like call of duty, a serious shooter when in reality I loves far cry because it wasn't a serous and stuck up its own *** shooter like cod) I loved playing obstacle courses with my friends and playing preditor mode (literally the best game mode of any game ever) on FC-IP and ever since FC-IP I have not had that rush and seance of playing a unique one of a kind game with a great community.

A couple of changes to the editor will make a world of difference. If Ubisoft keeps their heads in the sand then maybe the community will come up with something like a more powerful editor mod. It is too bad that the people who take money for copies of this game have such selective attention spans. I think eventually our gripes will echo up high enough in the chain that we will see some changes. Just have to rattle some cages up top.

In all honesty guys if your maps are not getting played it could be because people don't like your maps. My maps are getting played

Well, I published my map about 4 days ago and it has about 26 votes and 30 something plays. I know that's not that much. But considering other maps that are in the map editor archive have been on that list for longer that have fewer plays than mine.....when my map was about 25 maps down the list. Now just yesterday I noticed my map was at the top of that list. I don't know why. I don't understand the relevance of that list whatsoever. I also don't understand the play count difference. I've played in my map only about 4 of those times with friends. So I am just trying to think of possibilities as I don't know how the map lobby system works.

I have no idea how it works either. I don't know how your maps get played when a new map gets burrowed in bronze crap and has a very slim chance of coming up in rotation. Maybe you got a great map in early and now people look for your maps? Who knows? Even though I bought this turd on launch day, I couldnt even get a map in before it got overloaded with garbage maps because the editor kept freezing on me. I don't think mapping skills alone are what it takes to get your maps played.

No its not all. You need to form a band of friends who take the time to play and appreciate maps. Find great map makers and start talking to them.
