I've seen some great maps being made by some talented people. Some, I think 'how did they do that' and have to edit it to see what pieces someone used to build something. Some maps have a brilliant, well thought out, layout that would make for some great matches. Lots have had an obvious amount of care put into them.

NONE OF THEM GET PLAYED!

I go onto bronze and have the misfortune of being tortured by evil, sadistic, horrible map makers that deliberately make pointless and useless maps for the sole purpose of ruining MY day! Or so it would seem anyway.

Now, because of this, there are a grand total of 0 players going on to bronze at all. So any new maps, no matter how wonderful, will not get played, will not get 'liked', will not make that all important transition to Silver and therefore have ZERO chance of ever being Gold.

I'm not telling you anything you don't already know am I? Unfortunately, the problem is all too obvious and unless Ubisoft give us the lobby system we want, it's going to plague us for a good while.

The suggestion is to get a group of us together and get these maps played, liked and silver. I know that there are alot of us map makers that are all willing to play each others' maps in return for getting our own played, but nobody has actively arranged anything (to my knowledge). So what I want to do is get us all to sign up and try to make it a bit easier for this to happen.

So, if you want to join in on this, all I'm asking is that you be willing to join and play a full match whenever you can and click 'Like' if you like the map. It would be nice to be able to get some matches going with a full server once in a while.

Post your Gamer Tag below. I will update the thread periodically to put all the Gamertags together in a single list. Then if everyone adds the whole list on XBox Live, that will instantly make everyone more accessible to each other for invites, etc.

Then we can decide how we want to proceed in getting maps played. Maybe this can be done by everyone agreeing a specific 2 hour slot per week/day/whatever where everyone will take turns hosting a map for play or something. Maybe a better idea is for us all to coordinate by having scheduled events posted here. Everyone submit their maps to be played, then a list would be put together for a specific date and time and one person would host a private match and send out invites for each map in the list in turn. Maybe DapperHayden007 will put the information up on FarCryUniverse so it's not lost in the infinite list of posts in this forum. However we decide to do it, something will definitely work.

I had some friends show up just as i clicked on it, an when i checked back..couldnt find it. I remember reading that you'd seen a post about friday nite hosting, so thought you may have taken it down...

Pretty much all the time we all build and play maps and get matches going. As long as you talk, you can join in.although you don't have to It just makes things easier. I play with a very nice group of people. That is how you get your maps out there and played. You need to form a band of friends. So add me if you like and we can all share our maps.

im also registered at battlemaps.net and farcrymaps.net there great sites but the guys play mostly late night over in the stats but im on GMT .
hope you take this into consideration .maybe set a two hour slot for every night so use map builder know we have a time and place.
i still have friends playing farcry3 but its not too many and the list is getting shorter by the day .
i dont need full rooms to have fun 1 v1 is fine.

Aww hell, i'm up for it but please take into consideration I am also GMT and because I see my GF frequently.After all she is pregnant. Thus making me a busy guy and at times may be offline for a day or two dependant on how long I see her.
