Is it possible to cheat on this game?

I ask because yesterday evening I was playing co-op with a friend against another team we did not know. The game ran fine no blocking smooth game paly all in all a good game. That was until we triggered the countdown timer for victory we were about to win when the countdown suddenly slowed right down and we were paralysed every second suddenly took 10 meanwhile our opponents were busy chatting and it appeared to be moving around where as our teams towns suddenly slowed right down and we were only just able to play. Has anyone else ever had this it was surreal we it seemed as if we were being stopped from defending our winning position by an ultraslow timer. I could understand it if we had had problems during the game but it all went smoothly until the end. WE STILL WON THOUGH!

Start downloading torrents and it will paralyze your network connection. Game will slow down and "hopefully" other players will leave the ultra slow game. Happens to me a lot. When I am about to win, low-trash players start downloading torrents.

What Decina says may be true; at least since he put it out there, someone is going to try it.

But I can't see that it would be an advantage to the person doing it, unless annoying opponents enough to make them quit is an advantage.

Computers have all kinds of programs that download updates automatically and that is what I think is usually the cause if someone is blocking.

But who knows? There may be some way to manipulate the internet connection to your advantage.

I'm glad you won the game anyway.
