farcry 3 crash/black screen | Forums

i just got far cry 3 and when i first install it i can play without updating it but it's very glitchy and i have to quit and restart every time it messes up and if i update it to 1.01 i get a black screen after its done loading with the guns and if i update it to 1.02 it wont start it says there is a new update that i have to install it does the same thing with the 1.03 patch and when i update it to 1.04 it loads but when i get to the menu when the heads are there and it says far cry 3 it freezes there is there any why to fix this i reinstalled it 3 times
my specs are
windows 7 64bit
and AMD 7950 3 gig video ram edition
two 8 gig sticks of ram
a 1.5 TB hard drive
AMD FX-8150 Zambezi 3.6GHz 8 core CPU
MSI 990FXA-GD65V2 90FX AMD Motherboard
and a 27 inch monitor

also i should say when its not updated at all i can play but when im in game i cant hit Esc and go to the menu or it will be messed up when i go back to the game
