You need to mash, not press.

key input not recognized by game. Im getting "knifed" all the time...

Same problem here too (PC version). I just can't win against the guy with the knife after the short tunnel. No key input is recognized. I also tried to map the keys differently, but to no avail. Can't proceed with first mission. Using latest Patch 1.04.

Thats so hilarious.... How can a game designer already ruin this game after the first 2 minutes playtime, making it impossible to proceed any further. Fully unplayable.

You must be joking right? When you get fragged by the guy with the knife its "game over". And when the input is not recognized because of a GAME BUG you can't win the fight and you get killed for ever.

Its obviously impossible to proceed with the "mission" for everybody that experiences this BUG.

Found a solution (at least for PC)

    Hi all
After experimenting around I had the luck to finally find a way to get an active key input in the "knife scene", so I could proceed with the first mission successfully:

I enabled the V-Sync option (it was by default off)!

I remembered a similar problem with failing key input regarding KOTOR2, the solution back then was the same. At least for PC-versions (I don't have an Xbox).

Maybe this helps someone with the same nasty experience :-)

    Cheers!
