    Far Cry 3 Crash.

Alright, because naturally, helpdesks for games played 24/7 aren't available in weekends, here's my issue.
Far Cry 3 has been bugging me since I bought it, had various types of crashes, and finally had it running somewhat smoothly without crashing within five minutes.
I have, however, returned to the point I fixed earlier, crashes in main menu.
The following information comes up for me:

    Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
    Application Name: farcry3.exe
    Application Version: 0.1.0.1
    Application Timestamp: 50d1e630
    Fault Module Name: nvd3d9wrap.dll
    Fault Module Version: 8.17.13.1070
    Fault Module Timestamp: 50b975ed
    Exception Code: c00000fd
    Exception Offset: 00002bd6
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1
    Locale ID: 1043
    Additional Information 1: 6115
    Additional Information 2: 61151ffa79e30e2c531118fbb586007c
    Additional Information 3: 1f10
    Additional Information 4: 1f10523e604d7607a6929edf32d6c2af

    System specs:
    8 GB Ram
    OS: Windows 7 64x
    Singular 1.5 TB harddrive.
    Nvidia GTX 580
    i7-2600K @ 3.40 GHz

I have already concluded that re-installing my video drivers had NO effect on the crash, as it is obviously something to do with the .dll. I don't really see wtf the graphcard would be loading in the main menu, but that's just me.

EXTRA INFO: I launch this game via Steam -> Uplay -> Far Cry 3

Bonus crash: As I seem to have circumvented the first crash again, here is my second crash which is ingame on loading screens:

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
    Application Name: farcry3.exe
    Application Version: 0.1.0.1
    Application Timestamp: 50d1e630
    Fault Module Name: MSVCR100.dll
    Fault Module Version: 10.0.40219.325
    Fault Module Timestamp: 4df2be1e
    Exception Code: c0000005
    Exception Offset: 00001f68
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1
    Locale ID: 1043
    Additional Information 1: 0a9e
    Additional Information 2: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789
    Additional Information 3: 0a9e

Which seems related to the C++ environment, but I have again recently updated and repaired all those.

This guy fixed his crash issue by going to an older driver version (NVidia)

I'll check if this has any effect for me, thanks for the link either way.
I do not directly believe our problems are the same, though, but we'll wait and see.

No not the exact same error, but I think that a lot of the problems that people are having are more driver related.

So it turns out, it's not the driver.
It does seem to be directly related to loading screens, somehow. If I have too many in a session, it just crashes. Problem is, I don't feel like having to disregard fast travel. :/
