Problem with Far Cry 3 | Forums

I just bought Far Cry 3 from steam on my PC. When i click play in the Uplay menu, a black box labelled Far Cry 3 will open up. After about 5 seconds the game will close and an error report box will open up. It says 'farcry3.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.' I've restarted my computer several times, i have re-installed the game and i have run the integrity of the game cache in the steam properties. After all of this the game continues to do the same thing and refuses to open! It's really irritating and I would like to start playing! Someone please help!

Is Uplay updating the game before it launches?

And also if you havent, update your latest video card drivers so you can get the latest directx installed

also how much memory does your computer have

its got 500GB of memory. how do i check if my graphic drivers are updated?

so i played farcry like 2-3 months,everything was fine and sudendlly this error .exe started to crash my game every 5 mins so i can't play..
my video card is updated,i have more then enought memory on my hard disc,i have no viruses,pls help :/
