When I start far cry 3 on steam my cursor on the menu screen wont go all the way across or down the screen. when I switch between borderless and full screen sometimes it fixes the problem but I'm stuck with the windows task bar on the screen. I can auto hide the task task but it still pops up during game play. This is really annoying, has anyone ran across this problem and if so is there a fix for it.
Any help would be appreciated.
Yeah I've tried that and it doesn't work. When I do that the the screen starts flickering and I have to open the task manager to gain control and get the game screen back.

Thanks for the help.
Hmm have you tried playing with just one card to see if that makes any difference? I mean I know when I launch it does start as a Bordered Window then flips up to Full Screen. Now if I Alt+Tab then it goes all wacky and just goes back to a Bordered Window and won't minimize. getting back to Full Screen needs an Alt+Tab.
I shut down one card and now it's not flickering when I switch between windowed/borderless/fullscreen. When I alt/enter I have to play with it for a while but I can get it to go full screen without the task bar showing up but my cursor wont go up or down the screen all the way. When I do get my cursor to work properly the **** task bar is still there. I'm not sure what to do now, playing with the task bar on the screen drives me crazy.
It must be just me and my luck because I can't find anybody with a similar problem.
going to try this tomorrow
if u have a desktop shortcut for uplay, right click it, click on properties, the compatibility, select "disable desktop composition", click apply, and ok. if u have the game on steam u will probably have to go to program files86>steam>steamapps>common>far cry 3>bin>farcry3. Right click on farcry3 application file and do the same thing as i said above.
